Hi all,
I joined this board when it first started and then sorta forgot about it. ::)
Glad to see it doing so well, kudos to the admin crew.
Just wanted to say hello. I live in Ottawa, Canada...not SoCal, and I own a Legend...not a Cima or Celsior. Still, I have been into VIP cars for a while, 8 years and counting. I have property in Tokyo and go back quite a lot. I am actually more of a sports car enthusiast (past cars include a 300ZXTT, Soarer, S13 240SX, R32 Skyline GTR and my current ride, a NSX) but have always been attracted to big, black jdm sedans. My future plan include picking up a late model Q45 and doing the Cima thing, but for now this one will suffice:

welcome to the boards. :) Are you interested in making your legend a VIP car? There are lots of great kits/parts for it. just check out www.memoryfab.com.

JDMpimp, you like to link to mem-fab an awful lot. I have nothing against them, but they are not the end all source for parts. Infact, I tend to think that they are the guys you go to when you are new to the whole scene... Regardless, Oyagi has been a member here since way back in the early days, and further more knows how to modify his legend and what parts to use...
Nice to have you back.

Hey, thanks for the intro.*
I've always liked the second gen legend out of all of them (incl the RL). Its just the sleekness of it. Honda products have always had more of a performance edge to them, as opposed to products from Nissan and Toyota which are more Q-ship (luxo).* My take on it has always been like comparing a bimmer to a benz...just a little more edge to their products. Thats not to say I don't love and like the stuff from Nis/Toy, just my interpretation on their brand image.
I would like to take the VIP hammer to my Legend but I think I have done all I want to do to this ride. Its getting a little too old for me (1992) even though its only got 40K miles on the odo. I'll probably drive it as it is now (no kits, just lowered and tinted with my high-offset rims ;)) for a couple of more years and then swap it for a M45 (Fuga) or last gen GS, which has always been a fave.* I was at the Tokyo Auto Salon this year and snapped a few pics which I will post shortly. Lots of inspiration.*
I guess the most VIP thing about my car is the Fusa and JP sticker on the rear glass (sacrilege!!).* :o
I'm also gonna try and restart my old account, just gotta go through the memberlist and find it....its been a while.
Cheers
John
btw: nice vip legend here:
