found a buyer for my benz @ the asking price.. cash.
i always said if i sold it id buy a long wheel base jag and run air suspension on some wide euroline SL and keep it simple.
well, thats still my plan. i found the jag... for the right price and i have hook ups on everything else.

anyone have any experience with older jags i need to keep an eye on? maybe anything as far as mechanical goes or the suspension setups?

im looking @ 97-98ish xj6L/xj8L's.

ive been really wanting to see something nice for these jags. and man, does that black one look hott. i say go for it. btw, whereever you are, those drivers suck. look at the row, and almost every other car is sticking their nose out. nevertheless, hott.

This thread just made my day, i have been a lurker on this site as well as benzworld, and mbworld for awhile, i was excited to follow your w124 build up as i recently sold my 88 300e, which i had lowered on chrome 500e 8 hole 17's and other small mods,
i gave up on it cuase of rust issues. Damn Canadian road salt.
Recently i purchased a 96 VDP, i have addressed all the common problems, and have been trying to decide whether to go further.
Pm and I can tell you some things to watch for, mainly reaserch the Nikasal engines which came in cars 98 +, as well keep an eye on the auto dimming rear view, if it's blurred replace it, it could start dripping corrosive crap. Happened to me, very common problem. Trying to get mine replaced on lifetime warranty.
look foward to updates and inspiration.

Only thing I know is that crazy .5 amp fuse under the shifter that puts power to the radio. Change the radio and not that fuse, and the new radio will pop it quick. either change it to something bigger or bypass it altogether. that's all I know about Jags.

About a year or more ago... VIP CAR Magazine had a Jag as its cover car.

It looked amazing! As do all of these!

I just picked up a 1997 MB C-Class as my daily driver... I was planning Coil Overs and Wheels, but seeing these; I might have to get one of them for the garage and nice days only!!!

They look so LOW dropped! I wonder if they are taking the stock Air Suspension out of the back, or are they actually using it?
