Do any of the 02+ Q45 models come with air suspension? i know there are sport models, and regular models, and i'm looking into either picking a q45 model up or just going for an ls430 UL if i can find one, that fits my budget. i'd rather go with a q45, i just want to know if any of them have air suspension so i can tell the difference when looking at them.

I have a F50 and was wondering the same thing. I haven't been into the VIP scene that long but I've researched alittle on the suspension. I never read anything about stock air suspension for the F50 so I don't think there is any. I've only read about the LS430 ultra luxury which you also mentioned. I've heard that it doesn't go as low as some people like to go with the stock air suspension/data systems.

No F50-chassis Q45 sold in North America come with factory air suspension.

what about the F50 front and rear bumpers? are the USDM bumpers IDENTICAL to JDM bumpers?

No they are not identical. The metal rebar that is between the frame and the foam on the USDM is much bigger. This picture is of the JDM bumper rebar. The JDM bumper covers therefore are shorter. Only a few JDM kits, Impul for sure, fit US spec cars without modification.

so your saying even JDM bumper COVERS will not fit USDM f50's ? so replacing the entire bumper is not an option ?
some other dude did a junction produce kit with no problems, Axis wheels also did a Wise Sports kit with no problems.
are u sure ?

maybe they took out the bumper support? or cut the metal bumpers...
you can fit any JDM kit on the F50 you just have to either modify the rebar, or get a JDM rebar. Ask JP cima how he fit his JP kit on his F50.

after all this information, you mind as well get the ls430 ULTRA.
the F50 would be more unique and different here in the states, but it just seems to be too much of a hassle.
ls430 = digital air controller + nice fitting wheels and tires = done. Easy to remove and cash out when you sell the car.
F50 = bodykit (because the oem USDM bumpers are hella nasty (just like every Q45 ever made) + finding the chrome trimmings + air suspension + wheels = too much trouble. PITA to remove and cash out when you sell the car.
seriously if I could do it all over again, I'd rather have just got a LS430 ultra , digital air controller, wheels and call it a day.

yeah, that's what im thinking too...my budget i want to spend on a car is 25k max, and around here, its 25 and up. i really want the LS ultra, and i think im going to have to check insurance rates too, see if they are any higher than the Q. record isnt too good, but 2 out of 3 points are falling off after my policy renewal comes up.
i was also thinking about grabbing a GS300, for the fact that i can pull out the NA and swap the turbo brethren in there....heheh and i can find the one i want, with HID and Navigation for around 15k...costwise, i am swayed toward the GS too..hehe

Mr. marksport is right, the JDm bumpers are different. The back is way shorter while the front is just a smidge, but enough where you would have to take out the bumper reinforcements....looks hella clean though. Up to you guys. i chose my F50 for the uniqueness.....

i think the reinforcements are just bolted on. you should be able to take them off pretty easily.

it's better to aquire some sort of reinformcement, even if it's the JDM one...i'd rather have some bumper than no bumper.
yeah i will look into getting the JDM one when i get a kit.
