I was thinking that a suitable adjective to describe the look of a *truly* VIP styled car is: BOLD
Like you can take a first-gen G50 Q45 and fix it up in a conservative manner (no more than 2.25" down, no additional neg camber, narrow wheels with mid 30s offset, etc.), and it could look nice. But you take the same car and fix it up in a more extreme, "VIP" manner (sliggity slammed, camber beyond the norm, low offset wheels that are very flush and then some, etc.), and park the two side-by-side. One will definitely be more BOLD.
Hmmmm

bold's a good word. i'm more partial to your use of "presence" in previous threads- as in the "sliggity slammed, camber beyond the norm, low offset wheels that are very flush and then some, etc." will have more presence than the other one.

"Presence" definitely sums it up for me, it's what it's all about.
Vip-favouring Japanese gangsters are all about it and so is the general style of the cars. They're big, they're low, and they look like they will destroy anything in their path...or the people inside will :P
If I wouldn't be scared of a Vip car behind me, it's not Vip enough lol

I think that if VIP could be summed up in one word, it would be elegance. With elegance comes presence. If a beautiful VIP Styled Crown Athelete pulled up at a stoplight, even those who arent VIP car savvy would do a double take. I guess that its hard to accurately describe it in one word because it is so much deeper than one word.

If a Vip Crown pulled up beside or behind me at a stoplight I would freak right out.

maybe the more conservative VIP, but i hardly see neg offset and deep dish as elegant, nor do i picture gangsters as elegant either. Just my .02

How about:
PRESENCE

EDIT: Whoops, already mentioned... but I think it's another good word that describes the difference between one car fixed up one way, and the same car fixed up the "VIP" way. One may be good, but the other is great

Hmm, there's a few that could work, and I'm just throwing these out there, I'm sure some will fall more under conservative than others.

refinement, aura, exquisite, tasteful, finesse, sophisticated, flair, stylish
