Well the only reason i got 19's is because the 20 doesnt come in too many offset's and the the 18 was too small so i had to settle for the 19 because i wanted some type of lip also i wanted the kit more closer to the ground. I dont think they are too bad but yah i would love to go bigger but i wanted to match the kit and the wheels. Even with 20's it still look small maybe might go with a 21 inch wheel sometime :P

I love it with 19s and stepped lip. pimp.
I'm so jealous that its done. How long was the process in getting the painting done? Mine is going to be 2 months once its done.

Well i was really waiting on the kit and the wheels and exhaust but i picked up the kit in LA on thursday about 9am then drove down to San Diego and dropped it off at my friends paint shop and then it was done on friday at about 4pm then put the sides and caps on friday night then put the front and rear on saturday. So the complete build time on the car was 3 days for the kit wheels and exhaust. :buck2: It was a long 3 days though because we had to do it at a friends house because the shop had to be closed because they were redoing the parking lot thats why the floor looks so black in the pic because its brand new.

The paint is a little off because the color of the original paint is kinda stained so i have to get the whole car either repainted or try to get it detailed to where its actually white white not yellow white. It has the same pearl and everything though but ill get it all matched up.

Yeah, it's really hard matching up that pearl. It took me a few tries to get it color matched, and it's actually just an "acceptable" match, not 100%.

So it was on the factory air ride? What are the advantages of the air runner over the factory suspension with controller?
I hear you on matching pearl white. Instead of trying to match, the whole lower portion of my car has been painted short of the roof and top of the trunk.

Well since we are a Airrunner dealer and we always test products before we sell them we basically put it in every car to make sure that the quality is there and not just trying to sell something that might bite us in the ass later. There is one advantage to airrunner is that you can go lower then the stock air ride can go. this isnt the lowest setting but if i go any lower im goiong to break the sides and it already hits the ground at this height.

I was wondering if you could lay the kit on the floor. When I did my friends y33 setup, it was able to go low, but not completely lay the car out on the floor.

Well my side skirts hit the floor first before the rear or the front bumper. My front doesnt lay as low as the back. There is a way to lower the front more on the Y33 set up if thats what you are looking for but it would have a minor noise when u roll over bumps but on the freeway it rides fine. To lower it more in the front is by changing out the top mount to a pillow ball mount that will make it about .5 to 1 inch lower. If you have any more questions just call me at the shop at 858-635-6620 or email me at info@autofashionusa.com and i would be happy to help you out.
Thanks,
Freddie

Freddie-
very sick car man...I met you at HIN and talked to you about running an air-runner set-up for my gs300..well I got rid of that car and now have a 2001 ls430 with the air suspension..will I still benefit from the Air Runner set-up?
I wish I can dish out the cash for a full JP set-up, but at this time, it's just not possible :(.

Hit me up because i do have a Full Fabulous kit and it would look sweet on your car and also the airrunner would still benefit your car but you can always just buy the controller first to see if thats what you are looking for. Hit me up if you need anything or if the fab stuff is what you want because ill hook you up on the price because im not going to put it on anymore.

Thanks, I'll let my friend know. Is the pillow ball an airunner made part or aftermarket? I was planning on going with air runner when I upgrade to my ucf30 at the end of the year. Still debating on going with air runner on my ucf20.

Its pretty much either or on the pillow mount you can get it from Airrunner or you can get it from a company that makes it.

you guys are definitley reppin hard. I like most of the projects ya'll have came out with so far.
19's look perfect on the 98
not feeelin the 19's on the 01, car's way too big, especially with kit.
are you still considering a 20?
AutofashionFred
05-27-2006, 01:53 PM
yah im planning on 20's. the only reason i got 19's is because it had better offsets then the 20 inch Junction Produce wheels. I have a set of 20s but i just wanted to do all Junction and not mismatch. ill be doing another kit with different wheels on the 01.
