ahh the design is creative but i see it going in the wron way.. it will be knocked off overrun played out and hubcaps will try to do it too..
the concept i feel is futile and will last only to a certain point... :-\

uh, its Caoboy, and yes, you do have a lot to learn about Bippu Style. first you need to learn that DUB is not a VIP or VIP styled company. its not VIP style, its DUB style, two COMPLETELY different car cultures, here AND in japan. thanks.

its not VIP nor is it VIP style. but i doubt it is DUB as well. some designs are nice but i agree it will get played out like spinners, altezzas, etc.

again Cowboy you completely overstand, almost to a point where its humorus. its obvious that its Dub/rice/show, definatly not VIP or Bippu.... ::) did I even mention which car of mine I was going to put it on? My vip car? my drift car? my grocery go getter? my ORV? no so dont assume anything. Besides its 12k for 22's f that crap..
like i said Caoboy dont overstand me because nothing is really ever what it seems.

Ugh, I don't like that word...overstand. It looks like a freak of language.
Anyways. I think those would look cool with a deep lip because you would see the reflections on the lip
It's got good cruise night value, for a few weeks.
it would be cool on my s14 drifting at night... with like "look out" or my sponcers logo, or shops logo.. i think it would be cool

then do it big guy! show us your VIP Q45 dorifto machine. show us how great you are almighty newb with 'sponsors' and a rainbow (by rainbow i mean multicolored non matching body panelled) colored wrecked kouki 240sx. please show us how to make VIP style so great. please actually GET a q45 first of all. Then get the suspension, and the rims, and the body kit, and PAINT your car. show us the great vip style that you are so gonna do. when you do it, come back here. then post about how you crashed it into a wall, thinking you are so cool by drifting it. do you even realize how expensive this tuning culture is compared to drifting? you dont even have a single colored car, let alone a NICE drift car. you cant even do that, how do you expect to do that with a q45. rims alone for the car (good ones that are not 'sporty' and are actually VIP rims) will cost more than the q45. the kits are just as expensive, and suspension IF you can find it is not cheap either. vip style isnt just having the parts and throwing it in. its a presence. its a presence that you cannot show off by drifting. vip is all about commanding respect with an iron fist. and you buddy, right now, aren't doing that. we'll see what happens when you actually do it. get your car, get your shit done to it, and after you have spend ALL that money, see if you still even want to think about smacking those rims or kit or paint into a wall. [/rant]
I like how this went from my sarcastic remarks to a personal attack. :2funny: Just because you have an elite attitude does not make you elite or even the middle echlon. Like I said Cao... nothing is really ever what it seems. So with that being said again ::) I'm getting my Q if everything works out the end of next month. so do you want me to hop off this forum untill I have it? Just because I'm new to the club doesnt mean I'm unfamilular with the idea. Just because I want to do something you don't like or don't agree with, doesnt mean you need to get all huffy puffy, you could just wait till i fail and then you can chime in.

oh dont worry pal, im not getting all huffy puffy. i had just ordered my 2jgte swap right before my car was totalled. luck of the draw i guess. but what my initial point is, get your car done, then brag about it and all the stuff you are doing with it. have fun cone dodging in it, and if you really do get all your stuff done, and not just a knock off ebay kit, why not get something REALLY VIP like junction produce, haha, then props to you.
ebay parts are for cheap basterds. I will pay good money for the stuff i get and do... I just have a few things to sort out first* :knuppel2: gotta make people pay what the owe and ill be fine* :coolsmiley: The kit I will get will be custom made by one my sponcers in which we are still working out the contract. But pritty much I got the "Go" from the body shop, some parts suppliers, a famous "drift" mechanic, and a renouned shop. My s14 is the way it is because of my "Balls out" style and "if you havent crashed, your not going fast enough" motto of drifting... Besides imagine going to D1GP "the show" and seeing a drift battle where those wheels are most likely to be used in the front or rear.. sliding 100mph big smoke and big lights... Thats where I see it being used(to bring this back on topic)

get her done, and props to you. and yes, i have been to d1gp, and i know all about drifting. had my 240 not been stolen, i'd still be doing it.

I dunno, I wouldn't mind seeing those on a show-off drift run, for the entertainment value. Looks like something Orido or Nomuken would pull off.

Being a designer at MHT (the parent company of Dub) I can probably answer any questions you have on these wheels.

Do they come in a "free" version?
No. but they do include a laptop.
Yurikaze
04-04-2006, 10:44 AM
Why?
Because it can be done, I guess.
They'll be desireable in the wretched excess overblinging baller status market. :buck2:
if i got my own laptop would it be cheaper?
Yurikaze

But dude, it's a dell!, lol.
I think it would be cheaper without the laptop...
Here is the low budget Im a crack head cant aford baller version. I have been working on these for two years now. We will have them in colors and you can program them off your own PC. You cant program on the go but they will hold up to 32 designs and you can do animations.
There will be outlets in the states soon for them. They will fit any rim and should be under 100 a wheel retail.
This is from D CAR when I brought out the line in Japan

That's really cool, I like your version better.
to me that looks like the jap tryin to copy DUB in different style ;)
sorryy to blow your minds its the same thing that was used on the indy cars for advertizing. Way before DUB ever had it. But then again If I was charging 12g a set I could make anything.

Those ones look to be like the:

Their web page looks so horrible though (not to mention lots of misspellings), which goes a long way towards hindering credibility in this web-based world we live in...
