Hi guys. new to the forum. I have a 93 GS300 and would like to get my rear fenders rolled so i can run 25mm spacers. Can any of you recommend any shops in socal that roll fenders? The place i went to said the GS300 has an extra thick fender lip that hard to roll without ruining the paint. Heres a pic of how my car sits now. thanks.

Can't you just have the rear quarters repainted?
I'm poor as dirt and still didn't think twice about attacking my recently painted car's fenders - it's not a big job anyways.

i thought about cutting but i'm on a super tight budget. i've gotten quotes for cutting the rear fenders for $100 plus extra $$$ to primer and respray so it won't rust.
any of you been to e-autosports in el monte? i hear they roll fenders pretty well but they mainly focus on scooby's and s2000. dunno about lexus.

thats too much work for something simple.
well, my friend did it for me. thats what he used to do working at a performance shop. anyways, he taped off the fender tab with masking tape, so the paint wont chip off. then we used the air saw for the compressor and started cutting away. just have a steady hand and you'll be find. afterwards
he sanded down the rough parts of the fender with the half moon metal file. because of course you cant get that perfectly straight, but close enough. after filing down what you need, i then bought touch up paint. it doesnt necessarily have to be an exact match. you just need it to paint whatever bare metal is exposed, so it wont rust. then its good to go.

How about trying it yourself? You can try using a fender rolling tool or a bat and a heatgun to prevent the paint from cracking.

you can also try tws (the wheel supply) in walnut, off fairway and the 60. go north one block off the 60, and make a left into the plaza with the stoplight.

I cut mine with a dremel tool and fiberglass wheel. Then smoothed it out with a 4" grinder with layered sandpaper type of attachment...its perfect now...Dont forget to tape of the paint with 2 layers of masking tape and take your time.

air saw and safety glasses and done, takes more time jacking up the car and taking the tire off. took me way less than 1hr

I had my fenders cut out on my LS400. I didn't get the fender primered and painted after.
Is this necessary?
Is automotive primer/paint cool to use?

Harbor Motor Sports will roll fenders for $50 a corner...I gotta go in ASAP, got my 25mm spacers on the rears and a was flagged down 3 times on my way home because my tires were smoking...sidewalls are shaved. Hope I don't get a blowout on my way to get em' rolled. Had to slice out the fenders w/ a credit card, scrape off a golf ball sized glob of melted rubber poop-goop. LOL. Looks good, sketchy to drive like this though.:pat:

Thanks man, I was in an emergency type situation (not personally for say, but the wife was scarred to tears - she wouldn't step foot in the car after that scene)but I got them rolled the other night, everything worked out but after watching the process it seems easy enough, just a matter of having the tools to get the job done. I may be in touch w/ you once I address the fronts...I 'll go for the roll first this time, then spacers so I don't run into the same issue. Thanks man!!!
EDIT : ...day late and a dollar short - story of my life!!!

if you mess up you do 4 times as much damage as the 1" belt sander ;)
