I have a project car TC. I'm buidling with Tunerzine.com I'm aiming for a VIP/Tuner look....

I'm trying to figure out either to do 18 or 19 inch works.. If I did a 18 would i be able to get a lower offset with a deeper lip? or just go 19 with a lowoffset and slam it??

any suggestions would help.. yesss i know its a tc haha not really vip :( but hey.. what can ya do! haha..

Thanks for any help!

You can sell it hahaha, Just kidding

I think 18's would look better.
Somehow the 19's IMO would look big since the car is small?

Offset and lip size is not dependent on wheel diameter. With the right sized wheel/tire and low enough you can pull it off.

I would go 19s on a tC... 18s are only Plus One from stock.
To be honest, I'd go 20s if I was building one for SHOW...
225/30-20 front + 235/30-20 rear would be pretty sweet.

The tC can take some crazy offsets with the right stance and mods-
19x8.5 front & 19x9.5 rear is pretty easy to so on this car...

imo, 18. its a short wheelbase car compared to vip. 19 will make it look taller than an 18. i think you want it to look longer/wider if you seek vip look.

I am guessing Tunerzine put you up to the idea of doing a bastardisation of two styles? I mean, imagine going to a muscle car site and saying, "I want to put muscle car influences on my JDM EK Civic".

VIP and Tuner are mutually exclusive visual styles, so no matter what width wheels you end up fitting on there, the end result will be TUNER. Using the word VIP to describe it is wrong...

Ever wonder how the term 'JDM' ended up on everything from HID lights to LED washer nozzles and piston-shaped keyrings??

As for your question though, you can go lower on 18s before you have to tuck them inside the fenders or cut your fender arches higher.

go 18's for sure... what type of rim are you looking at? go wide and do a really nice fender pull. aero wise you will have to go all custom due to there will be no remotly vip looking kits out there.... airsus i assume...

I'm planning on doing the Work Varianza D3S prob. go with a 18. trying to decide on width and offset..

when i say "VIP TUNER" this is basically what I mean.. vip styled wheels on a import car not your normal "VIP CAR" more of a tuner car.

well i think as long as you go the extra mile to get everything to work together it will look nice...but 19's would be entirly to big, 18's would be perfect and give you the room for the height you want. aero wise?

Just doing a cf front lip.. every single kit for the tc is pig vomit haha.. so just wanna keep it simple and clean looking.

so basically you want to get the stance down....
i had a tC and i test fit a 17x8 +10 and with a lil camber up front it looked good... the rear neaded more work since it was a 17x9.5 +16..

just figure out what width and offset to run...
once you get the stance the rest is well......

you'll be on your way!!
