Just wanted to introduce myself here.. Been lurking here for a bit, thought I would post since I got my Fabulous kit today.. Im with Tunerzine.com (http://www.Tunerzine.com) and were building a VIP Honda Fit.. The buildup will be documented on the site so make sure to check that out.. The Fit will be outfitted with Fabulous kit, Work Wheels, and a custom leather interior, and a k20 engine swap  ...

Here are some pics of the kit..

Parts necessary :
-JDM headlamp (you could get the shiny silver ones :))
-JDM bumper with grill inserts
-JDM Fenders
-JDM Hood
-JDM grill
-JDM Radiator support
-JDM rebar
-JDM fender liner

Good luck with the kit. The noblesse aero isnt much fun from what i saw at the bodyshop. Cross your fingers that the FAB front bumper accomodates the US version Fit.....

To use any jdm fit bumper requires a bit of work, because the usdm fit front end is quite different from the jdm one. So what does one do when they want to run a jdm front bumper? Either: 1) swap all the jdm parts over like shawn mentioned, which requires finding, acquiring, shipping, installing, painting all those parts, or 2) modify a jdm front bumper to accomodate the longer usdm front end and then paint that bumper.

And this is where honda folks are so funny imo... the ONLY reason to take the first route is to use an oem front bumper, because you can't really modify/stretch the urethane oem jdm bumper to fit on the usdm car. But, the jdm oem front bumper doesn't really look all that great, and it's another case of "Japan's junk is the US' gold." Why don't a lot of honda guys get a nice aftermarket fit bumper and get that to work with their usdm cars? It ends up costing less (don't need to buy all the oem front end parts and bodywork/paint associated), and looks way better than oem. But honda guys are all about trying to be as "jdm oem" as possible, and sometimes that means taking the illogical way to look not as good as the easier, better looking way. It's like after all that money and time and work what do you end up with? Yay, a car that looks like stock doo dong from japan. If they wanted to be so jdm, they'd realize that the japanese prefer to junk those factory bumpers post haste and swap on cool aftermarket pieces.

Noblesse, Fabulous, etc... all gonna need a little work to the front bumper.

I already have the complete JDM front end on the car already, just been driving around with a 2 tone look while I have been waiting for the kit :p Don't think it should be much problem fitting it on the JDM front since the fab kit is made for the JDM front.. Only people who are having problems fitting are the one's putting jdm front bumpers/lips etc on a usdm front..

The quality looks flawless from the pictures. If your car were white, you could probably slap it on right now and drive around and get compliments.
Nice purchase.

I think you guys are the ones responsible for making a friend of mine think about selling his Q with Full JP Aero, Air-Runner Suspension, WORK Wheels, etc and getting a Honda FIT. We are trying to talk him out of it.

I am sure that this FIT is going to come out great. But I still don't like you guys for making my friend even think about selling his sweet looking Q!! LOL

I guess front end conversion is the only way. If not a bit of body work.

I say again.... the ONLY reason to do a whole front end conversion (and we're talking from a logical, intelligent standpoint here) is if you wanted to run the factory jdm oem bumper, since it is not easy to modify a urethane bumper. But why spend a couple Gs to run a bumper that doesn't look good? Just to say you're jdm?? It looks BETTER and is cheaper (logic wins!) to get an aftermarket front end you like, and modify just the bumper, and voila, you're done.

JDM bumper has shorter cutout for smaller jdm headlight, in addition to shorter fender section:

Make a mold of corner including the headlight interface, segment the bumper, and graft the new fiberglass in place... grind and sand to fit:

Nice, Fabulous kit on a Fit will always look very VIPish. I highly approve. You will need to get the matching Fabulous expand wheels for some serious lip action.

I got a set of Noblesse stuff sitting in my garage at the moment, I am still debating if I should keep my car black or paint it all white. I am going VIP-sport look on mine though, kinda like the original Noblesse Fit in Japan (they track that car like nuts on Suzuka circuit over there...).

Here's how it looks as it stands at the moment:

I dunno for working on the kit for 2 days and paint and install for EXE show in LA and then installing all digital airrunner on the car i think it came out good!!!!!!!!!! I know it wasnt perfect but i know if i took more time on it that it would of came out perfect but then more time is asking too much these days plus it was featured in Siphon and i didnt really have any time to do anything really which sucked!!!!!!!

If anyone is interested i still have the Airrunner basic kit for $2500 and i also have the bodykit still hit me up if ur interested =)

If ur talking to me it was done in 2 days to make it to that show and i didnt have time to do the whole kit so there are imperfections and if i still had the car i would of fixed it up but in the end its still a FIT and nothing on there is Japanese spec except the kit(as far as body goes).

jtanoyo1, can't wait to see your ride done man. I was a big fan of your Aristo and if you do up the Fit like the Aristo, I'm sure we won't be disappointed.

and as far as the Autofashion Fit goes...it has your name on it so the way it turns out reflects on your shop regardless of how many days you worked on it. I own a bodyshop out here so I understand "show deadlines" that's why we no longer do show deadlines
