Can you get water seperators for the intake side of an air compressor?

Would air suspension companies look at something like this and maybe include
the appropriate parts to prevent something like this to happen?
Or is this just an isolated incident were the water separator wasnt included or probably was taken out.../.?

It is interesting to note that all japanese air susp setups seem to come with air separators.. but the US has tons of companies/shops selling "universal" air setups that try to be as cheap as possible, so they often leave out critical parts like water traps. I suppose it's another great example of the different mentalities between here and there

Thats why we run the stainless steel tanks in all of our kits so that the tanks don't rust out. Even with water traps you will never be able to remove all the water.

supposedly, air tanks have an anti rust coating in it, i forget what the correct term is. but its a really good idea to have a water/oil trap/separator between your compressor and tank. i even have a drain cock at the bottom of my tank, just as a back up if i feel like water got past the trap...

It's still a good idea to run them. That's the whole point.

Me and Hoebag have the Craftsman Air Line Filter, and they work great.
