I am going to buy 1 (one) 32"x18" sheet of Dynamat Extreme and I am looking to make the most of it. The problem areas for vibration are the front doors and the rear deck. The front doors currently house stock speakers but buzz at the slightest hint of bass. The rear deck vibrates quite violently when the volume is turned up, thanks to the aftermarket Pioneer 6x9 3-way speakers I installed.

I have two questions really. The first is "Should I put the Dynamat on the top or bottom of the rear deck?" And the second is "Should I use the entire 32"x18" sheet on the rear deck, and simply get more for the doors later, or should I "spread the love" so I can quiet the entire car a bit right now?"

The reason I'm only getting 1 sheet at the moment is my budget...it's small.

dynamat isnt worth the money too be honest... i think its overpriced and there is better stuff.
basically its like this i have tried it and later found out that simpler isolation foam works ten times better can be had at home depot
lowes whateverr... also there is spray foam for tail lights and hard to find corner side spots so... i would suggest that also a product i dont remember the name kinda like dynamat but cheaper and better uhh i will get back fire on that...but yea save your money and go with somethig better... youll thank me later 8)

Well, I think I may be able to get my hands on some B-Quiet (used to be Brown Bread). 20 sq ft for 110 bucks, not too shabby

I would, but I've already worked out a deal for that B-Quiet stuff. It's also better than Dynamat

The website is good! I noticed it's sold in 1 square foot. For my trunk, how many square feet do you think I would need? (I am not going to measure it any time soon and wanted to ask this to get an idea) thanks

Wow, $1 per sq foot, that's cheap. B-Quiet is about $7.50 per sq ft, and Dynamat is twice that

Both.

But if it's gotta be one or the other, go with the stick-on, it's gonna be easier to apply to more places.

edead is rebadged peel n seal. if you want some quality stuff, your best bet and biggest value will easily be RAAMmat. its a fraction of the price of dynamat with better results.

make your own decision. ive read many complaints about edead failing and being a complete b**** to clean up. i personally have used RAAMmat in every one of my installs and have yet to have even one complaint about it. superior product with excellent customer support.

heres 1...

i have edead v1se in my trunk at the moment. have had it installed for about 4-5 months. i took apart my trunk 2 weeks ago and its holding up perfectly fine. also, im pretty sure its not re badged peel and seal. i also have 2 gallons of their liquid stuff that i plan on putting in as well.

I got 1 gallon over 2 yrs ago Club Lexus had a group buy.......... I did my whole trunk w/ it. I like it helps keeps the exhaust / road noise out of the car.

I wanted something I could use in the hard to reach / odd shaped places. ITS NOT BAD is it better then other stuff I dont know but im happy with it. Hasnt peeled off either.

eDead wins for me hands down. I know Chris Schempp whos one of the sales guys there at the headquarters in IA, and hes helped me so much. When he recommended eDead, i was a little apprehensive, but am completely satisified now. Ive been in vehicles with the Dynamat extreme and the Raammat, and unless you have some supersonic hearing, you wont hear a difference. I know I couldnt, and Im pretty big into it. Its cheap, and gets the job done. No rattles, no nothing. No peeling either. eDead gets a thumbs up from me! ;)
