I have been contimplating on getting a 01 up CL. I like the S55, but already have two big vehicals, and i know its about living big or whatever LOL. The Lorinser kitted out S classes are horrible in my opinion. I love the classy lines of it. I guess i am reaching out in obtainable kits for both CL and S classes. I have seen many of them but would like to see if anyone has some hidden away that i have not seen. I guess I am trying to figure out what i want to do sell and buy diffrent or keep.

Debating on keeping the jag due to some problems coming up with it. mainly some small electrical problems. It has been Very low maintence but i am worried. Just trying to find options of what to do up. pluss i like others opinions! so show me what i am missin out on lol

This may not be what you are looking for. But for me, I would go with the CLS. Thats a hot car. The CL is nice but kinda played, and a two door. I would rather roll in a big body. Plus the CLS looks like nothing on the road. But if youre ask CL or S class.... S class for sure.

I personally like the S-Class. I believe they have factory air struts correct?

As far as kits go, theres Fabulous, Wald, JOB Design to name a few.

wow two replies already lol. Well have the S class already. I like the CL (yea its 2dr) and not very vip. But i can achieve a good style with it. I wont be able to do curtains or anything with it.. I would like it to replace my S14 that i have as well.. It would be more of the power house car then the al out luxry cruiser. I guess i am answering my own question lol. keep the S55 buy the CL LOL oh well. I love the CLS!! its a very hot car! but a bit out of price range right now. Dont like car payments sorry LOL.

I have yet to see any really crazy modded benzes, (not like tacy styling) but motor stuff, and interrior stuff too. searching google in hopes of something.

Still want some wheels for the jag and a low down kit for it.. or keep it stock and sell it to a older gentileman since i get hit up 3 times a week if i am interested in selling it haha

^my Sclass is a 02 S55. Anceltion is nice too.
I think the CL would bennifit a SLR look to it more than anything. Maybe some motor upgrades and the exhaust out underside front fender rather then the back

and maybe a few more things Make it an CLR lol.. JOB Design

go with the 2000+ S class.

they are dope. I saw one the other day with 20" auto couture magnifique and slammed. NICE.

funny thing is they don't hold as much value as a Lexus LS.

a 2001 lexus ls430 with over 90,000 miles still hold value around 21,000 to 22,000.

a 2001 S class (430, 500) at around 60,000 miles go for around 18-20,000.

Man that CL from JOBdesign is PHAT I agree that the coupes are more rare and a modded one would definitely standout in a crowd.

Go with the CL. Its a big body coupe. I like it far better then the CLS or the S class. I was close to trading my Q at one point for a CL but there is alreay a CL600 with a brabus kit, Brabus wheels, coilovers and Brabus engine work around here so I didnt want to be in anyones shadow around here.

^Thats cool! But ya, i know how it is. People think you are either copying or trying to be a rival or something.. Which is dumb, cause they wouldnt have made those parts for production otherwise! Unfortuinitly I will probably be moving to Palm Springs full time soon. And i know there is Tons of hooked up (every model) benz. Ya I will probably blend in with the masses, but oh well I will keep it gangster with my own styling... SLR exhaust style for the win LOL

I think a CL might have to be my next cruiser. Always loved their styling and after driving next to a bagged one last weekend down the freeway, I fell in love!
