View Full Version : a32 needs help.
i'm new to this, but i've been doin cars for a while. want to make sure i do it right.
1st wheels... whats a good width and offset? not extremely aggressive, but a lil. are 19's the best size for my car? i like these:

respectable?
2nd) body kit. this?

what are you going to drop the car with??
you could fit 19x8s or 8.5s or 9s-10s in the back with the right offset (close to 45mm)
make sure to lower the car with wheels before thinking about the kit... plus that kit is expensive and hard to get here...
either tein basics or air
its all goin on at the same time. memoryfab.com says they can get it now. aren't you on maxima.org?

ehehe I'm everywhere haha I have a y33 q45 so I'm on here and I've got now 3 A32s... and also an S14... so yea I'm everywhere
on my Maxima I have 19x8.5s on 245/35-19s offset 35mm front and 45mm back (I run spacers in the front to clear big brakes) it rubs slightly on the inside of the fenderliner (plastic screws) I'm lowererd on JIC FLTA2s
in the rear you couuld fit 10s if you have the right offset and a mild stretch (say a 10" wheel on a 245/35-19 tire) you might even get away with a wider tire like a 265 ofcourse you have to trim the inner fender.
you think 20" is to big for the max? i think i'll run 8.5/9.5 w/ 40-45offset. i think the mrr hr2/3 would be a good wheel to start with. my fenderliners have been gone a LOOOONG time. do you run your coilovers super-low? i'm not really feelin the stretched tire but i was gonna run 235/35. any clearence issues with the 300zx/6th gen max brakes you think?

brake clearance depends on the wheels... I like 19"s because you keep the tire diameter close to stock and it looks better 20"s can look good on an A32 but I think 19"s just look right =p
you could run 245/35-19 and 265/30-19 in the back for that combo or 235/265 like you were saying...
ok i'm probably gonna order these wheels tommorrow:
http://images.superbuytires.com/images/wheels/ba3fc0454c4ec8c3a74df6a3f1995dd1.jpg
i'm gonna run 8.5/9.5 on 245/35f 265/30r. offset 35-45 depending on whats available (should i go low and anticipate spacers?). this sound right for a32?

that should work my only question is if you run a staggered setup dont you want mad lippage in the back?? I think if you run those wheels might as well keep it simple and run 19x8.5 all around =o
and with the 19x9.5 if you run that in the back you have to keep it riiiight at 45mm or so 35 mm will make it harder to clear the rear even though I'm sure you still can with a 265 but remember unlike rwd vip cars or even other cars the rear beam precludes you from cambering in the rear to get sweet fitment
i want the 9.5 back because it has a deeper concave in the back. plus like you mentioned there is 0 adjustability in the back... so its kinda 1 chance to fill it up. how bout 35f/45r with 245/35 all around.

I like that Cefiro as well as the white above, but why do they have problems with lowering? I would just go with 19x8.5 or 9.5 all around if not concerned about having a deep lip. If staggered, I would get 19x8.5/9.5 +30 just like the black Cefiro above. Tires would be FK452 215/35/19 for the 19x8.5 and FK452 225/35/19 for the 19x.9.5 for decent stretch for the clearance needed.

benji..the white doesn't have prob with lowering but the black one does. the probs r the tires! they r using much wider tires. thats why it cant go any lower.

You know how hard it is to find a girl that WANTS to fix up a car!!!!

heeellll no....
i need a girl who wants to fix up a car and doesnt mind putting a few dollars into it instead of screaming and kicking that I spend money on my car and not hers when all she does it breaks trannies, backs into walls, and busts axles... =/
not to mention i used my (her car) I30t today and she drove my q on her two mile commute and she got rear ended big time today in my q... shes fine so its cool yea??
anyways i forgot to give her house keys off the i30 chain so she was going out shopping when she got rear ended she said its my lesson for not giving her the house key
I'm hella pissed haha so keeping her is... like keeping sportmax wheels on a VIP platform... maayyybe just enough time to find something better :D

and sorry for my rant eheh :D i'm a little upset right now
but anyways, I actually prefer girls who are not into cars but girls who respect their man enough to let them have their own hobby instead of trying to jump in all the time and manage my money... :D

lookin good... i decided to put off my vip styled a32 because i was spending too much money converting a maxima to a cefiro. i'm just gonna buy an i30 since i already have the jdm parts. gotta get this maxima done first though.

still lack of wheel fitments though...the bumpers r just too big n low...anymore lowering the car couldnt even go thru speed bump...might need some air...:D
yeah... the wheel arches are so huge that you can only have a small kit if you want a1 fit. when i get the i30 i plan on using the signature kit for just that reason.

signature kit is one of d best if u ask me...good on u man...
too bad its hard to find in my country...

yeah they have the handles too, but they are aftermarket. i want oem. but its not a huge deal since it will be a couple moths before i buy an i30.

the oem brougham tail light/garnish will cost u around US$500!! while Taiwan made will set u back around US$350.
not sure how much will d handle cost but for used set, its around US$50-80.
if u r really keen, i can post it to u but u will have to bear the postage. slow mail should be the cheapest
