Those are nice..

How hard/easy is it to work on VW's?

Gao Jian

they have motor/tranny swap contests for the old bugs, people are able to swap motors in like 5/10 min on those old cars. I don't how "easy" the motors are to work on but its seems simple enough.

VW's were and actually still my first automotive love (and hate). They are if you have patience very easy to work on. Most things are stright forward, as long as you rip every wire out the first thing then replace all of them your golden from there on.

Never thought I see a VW posted on this board! I'm a huge fan. (Iwill own a Karmann Ghia vert someday...)

I used to drive a VW Vanagon. It was nearly stock, except for a nice stereo setup. This is not mine, but I found this on the net. Porsche 993 turbo wheels, but I think the shaved handles are a photochop. The wheels could probably be tucked a bit more too...

This kid lives in Seattle...I haven't seen him drive that thing around for a wile...he also owns an old school VW (looks like a porsche), and he owns a slammed porsche. But the van sounds bad ass, the motor definately had some work done to it.
