i have a few VIP magazines and ive seen products like xtant, kicker, pioneer, kenwwod, orion, sony, mtx.. nothing too different, its just that some of them have the higher end stuff, especially when it comes to headunits and navigation units. I am looking at a Kenwood ad right now from the mag and i see different models:

K-CD01
K-WD01
K-ES01

that is a massive diecock. Their amp ratings don't look too bad. I wonder how the quality is though.

Can {-.-} find me true love?
j/k
I'm actually wondering about how Kenwood stacks up against the big US names for quality. I've noticed it's fairly cheap and cheap tends to worry me.

U should just go with U.S. brand names....way better....and cheaper....the only stero stuff I'm impressed with out here in japan is the real expensive audiophile stuff like the Mcintosh amps and head units with analog meters.....alot of those VIP cars u see with hooked up systems sound like shiet.....They always trip out because my one 15" bangs way harder and sounds way cleaner than their 4 12's lol.

what sub are you using?

DEE

Well I was thinking right now till I do the whole Diecock line I was going to run my Image Dynamic IDMaxx 12s....* with all my ID mids and Highs. Then for the other car since they never made it in Japan I am going to keep most my US made audio line in it. My Z32 I am working on all J Spec.... trying... it's so hard tho...

I am looking for a whole line from Japan. As amps, speakers, subs, EQs, and what not... Sorry that I don't fallow your likes and dislikes.... But thanks for the comments.......lol

Paying to play isn't that relevant when your cheap Zapco is already worth more than the other guy's car. Muchless a c7. ;D

DIe cock Is just that CRAP. ITs always been always will its cheep taiwan stuff. The only reason you see it in cars is becouse the fools with the cars have no money left for audio. Alpine would be your top dog here. The pioner or kenwood. Allthow JVC is gaining becouse they are using allot of their home tech in the car audio.

This is how you rock the block in Japan. This is 80cm dia. minimum power is 400 wats to drive it. I have seen them in everything from K cars to FD's. But the biger the box the bigger the BOOM

DXJP

No DIECOCK is made in Taiwan and could never compare to kicker. ITS CRAP get over it. Buy something that cost more than 3 dollars and actully sounds good.

DXJP

We have everything even JBC I sell everything but kicker and Rockford. The margins suck on them. I have a c1500 with 12 15"s in the cab and 6 Orion beast amps. It will hit 160 The day die cock could do that well maybe if they used a school bus.

Are you talking about the Orion HCCA amps of yore!

When I was younger I remember my pops had those graphic indash equalizers that dance to the music....dont know if it did much more than dancing, but I really want some for my car :D

He had it setup so the lights and some flash colored bulbs inside the car flicks to the music...it was the late 70's and early 80's in the Philippines... ;D
