Yaris?

I'm new and I have a US spec yaris hatch coming soon in black, any companies make anything for the hatch yet? Haven't seen any VIP style yaris's yet and would like to.

Yeah, Yaris and Vitza are the same dealy. Yaris was the Euro/South American name.
Then they just renamed the Echo (which was a Vitz/Yaris) here.

I was under the impression that the USDM Yariseses (a sedan and 3dr hatch) are not available elsewhere. AFAIK, JDM and Euro Yaris/Vitz are all 5dr hatches. So as far as body kits are concerned, they probably won't be perfect fits.

I am considering picking one up as well. I finally saw one up close in person today. I think the sedans are fugly. My GF wants one and I may get one and share it with her. (She would share the cost.) The only downside of that is that she would not be into modding it :-[ I cant wait to see some kits for it....

Well went to 2 dealerships today and both were dissappointing experiences.

Dealer #1 Rodland Toyota Everett
Went into the showroom floor, no salesmen were around.
A lady behind the desk was talking with a fellow in a "salesman" outfit and I had to say "excuse me" for them to even notice I was there.
Lady called over the intercom for "sales in the showroom please"..
Waited 10mins...nobody, my daughter and I just left.

Dealer #2 Magic Toyota Lake City
Saw a white 3 door Yaris.
No salesmen in sight
I basically sat in the car, opened every crevice, in short of actually turning the car on I went through everything.
No salesmen in sight
Checked out the price.. :uglystupid2:
$14,535 after dealer installed options that they call the VIP options :idiot2:

Walked away..

Is Toyota really selling alot of cars that no salesperson would even approach you any more?

By the way I was at the dealerships between the hours of 10-11 am... way before lunch and way after they have opened.

Conclusion, passing on the Yaris and going to get my old civic back on the road. :angel:

I saw that kit but it is not for a 3 door.* In japan, a lot of people are upset that they are passed over for the 3 door Vitz. They all get the 5 door hatchback.

I do like the kit though.* I would do something different for the grill if I got it.* I am not a fan of the mesh.

Planning on refreshening the 1.5 and sourcing a Cannon intake so I can put a dual carb setup.

But I just got an email from a different Toyota dealership and got a quote for $12,800 for the same car with the same "VIP" options... ;)
