View Full Version : Most stretch tires(vip stylin)?
What is the most stretch tires do u guys think?
The toyo t1s that I'm using rite now is not really stretch n durable.
I think falken fk-451 is 1 of the most stretch tires(not the most) n pretty long lasting that I know so far. Need opinions from u guys, any inputs from anybody? :P

It might sounds silly but since I'm running massive amount of camber I decided to get cheap tires, I have been stretching Nankang for over a year on my setups and they are holding up pretty good. I have done 215 on 11" with over 5k miles on my daily driver and no problem so far, but I think it matters what size tire and wheel you are working with !!!

Dunlop LM702 seems to be hugely popular in Japan. They are on nearly every VIP car. Falken ST115 seems to be the stretch of choice in NA.

try dunlop fm901... affordable and long-lasting
or be brave and run wide motorcycle tires (thanks to the wide-tire chopper craze they go up to 360mm width now)... but they are NOT cheap, and you need more specialized equipment to mount them. But expect to confuse people who think they know about stretched tires when you show them tires that are ROUND across the whole profile! :)

Hmmm... that would avoid the typical response of "OMG i bet you change tyres every week!" from camber-ignorant folks

haha i've never seen anybody run on a motorcycle tires b4 though, but isee ure idea. thanks for the input ;D oh btw, i think fm901 does not have many range of tire sizes, though. I have a 19"x8.5(F) n 19"x10(R) n runnin on toyo t1s 235/35 (F) n 265/30, I think toyo tires are not very durable because once it start running on bad side of the road and it starts chippin little stones n the tires wearing n tearing very fast. So i'm thinking of changing my rear tires now

i'm bringing this back from the dead because i saw the same topic surface on another message board... is the load rating on motorcycle tires sufficient to support the weight of a car?
