I have an uncle that is a shrimper from New Orleans and one day lifted up the net from the ocean. As he released the net onto the boat to unload the shrimp, he heard a glass shatter. Turns out it was an old bottle of liquor. Luckily there were 2 bottles that did not break. Those 2 bottles were brought over to my place. 1 of the bottle was already 3/4 gone while the other bottle has not been opened. We drank the rest of the 3/4 bottle and opened up the new bottle. The picture below is whats left of the bottle we opened. As you can see, it has been in the ocean for quite some time b/c of the shells that were stuck on it. (I took a screw driver to pry off as much as I could without breaking the bottle.)
Could this be a bottle from the Titanic? Could it been from Santa Maria? who knows? I tried looking for whatever word that was engraved onto the bottle but nothing was found...at least nothing that was exposed from the shells.

Oh yeah, im thinking its whisky since its a screw on cap. How was the taste you ask? It is VERY sweet and very very strong. One swig of this and you'll be out...No joke!! Its been under water at a perfect temperature and if you know anything about alcohol, it was in great environment, temperature wise
