Does anyone know where I can purchase a set of puddle lights? I haven't been on this forum for a while (ever since it was redesigned), but it looks like all the older threads concerning the puddle lights were deleted :(

Hmm thanks guys, I'll check out the local kragen's and autozone sometime this week. You guys wouldn't happen to know the quality of these led's would you?

check out http://www.oznium.com/ for single LEDs. They are really good quality and you can buy as few or as many as you want

I use the same ones as Lorinser. They are 4LED's per pod with a special wide angle reflector lens (flat profile for superb clearance) and a full wring harness with clips to make removing the skirts easy without having to touch the lights themselves or unmount them. They are expensive though, but the quality is of course top notch:

I never cheap out on Electronics.

Well you also have to think how bright do they really need to be. Mine are not blinding bright but when the door opens at night you can clearly see they are on. One idiot said to me "uh oh he's got neons" to which i replied "since when have you seen neons light up like this"
he had no reply.

The "cheaper" ones are about $120-150 (shipped), these are closer to $300 (shipped). I know the ones you're referring to and I've sold a few sets of those in the past until I got my hands on this type. The other ones are decent, but they don't have the wide angle lens and are less bright. I know it's not for everyone and that's cool. I just prefer better quality. Speaking of Lorinser, there's a full Lorinser new S-Class at the show. I'll get a pic of it.

I could only see the lights, they didn't show the full kit in the packaging. I am not surprised when I saw the price of the cheap ones. There was quite the selection at AutoBAcs.

Same ones I have but I think I need a sixth they don't cover enough of the side area for the car. BUt they are bright enough in my opnion. I don't need to be daytime under my car at night.

I have a set of Eurolite Firelights in stock that need to go..
I'm tempted to buy them just for the hell of it, but they wouldn't look good on my car.
If someone is interested, I can pick 'em up and ship them to you. Firelights are discontinued so they're getting hard to find.
(I'm not selling this as a business, just thought I'd let you guys know I found some)
I think they're about 20 bucks now (I'd have to check), and I'm not looking for profit, breaking even would be cool.

I am with "da prez" on this one. You want the good stuff you gotta open up the wallet or make your own, which takes time and we all know that time is money.

I made my own. They're from singles and I've even got a remote to turn them on and off.

Just FYI, Eurolite Firelites are back in stock, at least from my supplier at work.
They're $60 retail, so check your local AutoZone lol
Seriously though, they're pretty cool, I have two sets.
