Y33 Owners Specific Woodgrain shift Knob..What What What>>>>>>

Ok guys I have been looking for a way to upgrade my shift knob..well after trying to pull it out to paint it..I had a lot of truoble trying to figure it out and gave up..Thats when I decided to try to make a custom fited custom painted cover for it..here are the results.

Here is cover after being sprayed..lots of work to make this cover..templets, cutting sanding,,heating and bending into place:
all thes steps in painting..primer,sanding, base coat3, air brush/ wood grain technique..airbrushed and cleared3

THis was the first one and it came out great. I need to find some super thing 3m tape or I will use the 3m liquid adhesive so ther is no gap between the cover and the knob..Maybe I will put these into production..hee hee hee..

Looks nice Rich..what about cutting the area of leather out and then placing that there..could roll the leather under to match the height of the newly added piece?

btw, i noticed you did a dash conversion to a 99, was it a perfect fit?

damn good job bro. i dont kno about those crystals on the steering wheel...the outside dot ones...kinda girly...ahaha..reminds me of my sisters cell phone...but ehh. to each is own...i love that wood grain technique...you can make alot off doing stuff like this...maybe u wanna do some for a g50 :D
