What is there to hate? ???

I don't see anything to hate about. I like the wheels you ended up getting, and the drop really helps them out.

The car looks good. Its nothing stand out and new for the US, but its clean. Have you thought about a spacer in the rear to push the wheel out and make it sit a bit more flush to the fender?

yes i have... but under the fender is a 1inch lip that i have to cut out... and in the fender tucked behind the lip is a fabric type kinda lining thats molded out, so ill have to cut that too...

I like it. They flow pretty well with the Altima.

Yup, that definitely looks good.

I think if the rear was brought out just a bit too much, then the top cambered back in a bit that would be pretty cool.

one more question... What brand wheels again, and please tell me that the rivets are real.

ooh one sec, I thought you were ordering the 8.5 +20 and 10 +25. You got the +35 right?.
I bet if you had gone with the lower offsets you would have even flusher fitment, though you'd def. need to roll and probably camber. Maybe even pull just a bit. No big deal though. I remember my friend's dad's Taurus wagon was rubbing at the rear cuz it was so packed with camping rear so we rolled the rear fender with a hammer in 5 min lol
So for next time, no wimping out! :P
This already looks good, imagine how dope it would be with the extra 10mm of lip

ahhhh ur killin me... i dont even want to think about it... dont remind me!!

when i put em on, i told myself... "i knew i shoulda got the other sizes/offsets!"

im pretty happy with the way it came out tho... and i didnt have to mod anything..

and nobody can call me a poser for rockin staggered on a fwd

so all in all, im fairly satisfied.. BUT DAMN, ANOTHER 10MM OF LIP WOULD BE HOTTT

Whoever calls you a poser for that is either VERY new to car tuning, or just an idiot.

Now you know better. Alot of people do this, we try and warn them, but it takes one time of ordering a set of wheels that dont fit exactly how you want them too. Next time you will be armed with the proper knowledge to go ahead and get something that really stands out.

Well, staggered isn't really practical for FWD (assuming this is wider in the rear kind of staggered) applications' handling. Understeer caused by a lack of grip in the front will be accentuated by this setup. New to vip maybe, but as far as tuning, it makes sense not to go staggered on a FWD. It's just a look thing. I happen to like staggered setups, gives a car more character, and I don't mind them on a FWD car, it just means there's a compromise. But hey, you gotta pick a path :)

Perhaps at the upper end of tracking a FWD, yes. But day to day use, no. Eurospec rocked staggered wheels on his jetta daily and never had any issues at all with handling.

Yeah, that's what I meant, and why I don't mind. It's just that you said "VERY new to tuning or an idiot" but in reality as far as tuning tuning goes (when I see tuning, I think racing) staggered FWD is a no-no. Rules like that I know don't apply to daily drivers.

thinking of jus gettin some 1inch spacers. that will eliminate the wider on the back on fwd car jokings... and itll fullfill the flush fitment

AND ill be able to rotate my tires! yay! solution found!

I bet if you got those +20 offset wheels you would probably be one of the few maxima owners, or one of the first to rock +20 offsets on their max because I dont see anything lower than +30 on the maxima forums. plus you wouldnt need spacers to flush them out ;)

nice 6th gen though

I wish you had gone with the lower offsets as well.

Either way what sizes and brand are these ?

good choice, flows with the car itself very well, but i have to agree on the +mm, all with the drop; looks good. the next steps here soon will define what direction you'll be heading in w/ this vehicle, keep it up

i notice everyone talking about staggerd then I noticed Vee eye pee say that "thinking of jus gettin some 1inch spacers. that will eliminate the wider on the back on fwd car jokings... and itll fullfill the flush fitment

AND ill be able to rotate my tires! yay! solution found!"

with staggerd offests you can still run the same size tires... i run 18x8.5 with +20 in the front and 18x8.5 +13 in the rear but have 215/35/r18's all around... its when you start staggering width is where the problem lies....

it would appear that those wheels have a derivative of the DDC lips
