Still needs alot of work. I should just quit fucking around and order some coilovers and upper rear arms to adjust camber more. stance sucks right now. Im borrowing a fender roller tomorrow to flatter out the rears. I went to a shop today that heated the springs to sag it down a bit. lemme tell you, im sorry i did this. im filled with constant fear that they are going to break. In addition to that the springs seemed to have sagged unevenly (not side to side). But the actual coils are not overlapping at the bottom and make some contact noise on big dips/ bumps.

you learn from your mistakes. I just wanted to get the wheels on for this big euro meet this weekend, now im not sure i'll go.
I went and turned the rear eccentric bolts as far out as I could go to get the most camber. Still not enough.

Mmm, those wheels look tasty. Sure, stance could be improved but the wheels are a def. good start, they look great!

I'm not even sure that would need any more camber once you lower it another 2" or so... What are the wheel fitments/tyre sizes?

CHUPACABRIO
05-16-2006, 07:24 PM
fronts are 19x9.5 +15m O-Disc 225/40 (i think)
rears are 19x10 +0mm O-Disc 255/40

Right now it just sucks because I want it to look a certian way, but it cant, at the moment.

The tires seem a little on the bulky side.* Maybe some Falken ST115 or smaller sizes would help your fitment as well.

Good luck man looks great so far!* Great sizes.

*taking notes* 10" wide, 0 offset is the perfect size for Y33 rears.

Looks gorgeous! I think the wheels will tuck much better once you get the coilovers. Are you planning on JIC's? (I dont know of any other brands.)

the noises from the springs might be the coils hitting each other. maybe try to get some rubber tubing or something to wrap the coils.

Too bad you're not in norcal eh..? We'd get that thing squared away asap!
Hmmm, can you swap on some 235 tires on the back? That'll go a long way towards helping you get things to fit also
I'll reply to your PM in a few
