What makes it a Saber as opposed to a TL or Inspire? (curious)

Acura TL 99-03 = 98-02 Honda Inspire/Saber... Inspire was distributed one area of Japan, and the Saber was distributed in another area..

lol, i try and ride my bike as much as possible, to keep the mile off ...Lou only has like 20k on his TL

damn! i dont want miles on either vehicle... lol... but i hardly ride my bike too, i moved closer to work recently and bmx it to.fro (makes afterwork drinks a lot safer)

bought my bike in apr w. 4k mi, it's only at 6600 now chee!

20k on a 2g is ridiculous. even rev has more than that i think. haha

Grant doesn't hate the parts really (as long as they are properly placed and correct), he more hates when people call their LS a Celsior...as do I. You don't see my calling my Vanden Plas a Sovereign? That's what it's called in Europe and Japan. To me it's gay too. I mean calling an LS a UCF20 is fine if that's your chassis code because that's the same here or there. I called my Z a Z (or Z32 if talking to other Z people so they knew which chassis I had), not a Fairlady. Screen names don't matter...but telling everyone you have a Saber is just weird. I mean most people will look at you and go "looks like a TL to me?". I think that's what he's getting at and that's basically how I feel too. I like to see the parts conversion done properly, so I have zero beef with that, but it doesn't mean you'll see me doing it 100% of the time. My Vandan Plas will stay saying Vanden Plas unless I go all J-Complete...which costs too damned much..haha.

but even i find that my car is controversial in a way. H inspire grille and trunk badge is fine from the outside...b ut pop the hood and i still have the acura 3.2 TL-S engine plastics....
steering wheel airbag is still A, ACURA bose stock deck, acura navigation system, acura navi system in the trunk.... too much $ for me to convert all to honda... but that all was never my intention.'

i mean i coulda called my thread the inspire thread but i dont think of my car as an inspire........... nor does photz think of his car as a saber im sure... just a thread-title, is what im thinkin'.

ps regarding the UA5's tho... what i REALLY cant stand is when someone puts the INSPIRE badge under the acura logo on the trunk.. and keeps both the A trunk emblem and the grille too... wtf acura inspire?????

Hehe, Acura Inspire sounds nice though.
If there was a major JDM conversion somewhere, I think it would be neat to call it an Acura Inspire, as it is in fact, a little bit of both.

Like Inspire said, just cuz i have the grill which is the inspire grille and badging doesnt make it a Honda Saber... til im driving on the right side of the car, its an Acura TL, eventhough I do get a laugh when ppl ask what it is, or theyve never seen a honda saber..
