I read on here that a couple people did it, but never got into how or what wires to rewire to do so.

Im trying to wire up the oem foglight switch to turn on when ever its on the ON position rather then having to turn that on WITH the headlights.

So if anyone can help, that would be great.

Thanks

A few months back I was planning on doing the same thing to run my hid fogs manually, but some guys were mentioning something about doing some modification to the fog light or headlight relays and it got too technical for me. So if any of you find out the easiest way to set this up, please share.

not positive about y33, but it should work the same way. you can disconnect the wire to the fog light relay in the relay box and jump it onto another relay.

when picking which relay to jump it to consider how you want it to work. do you want it to work on acc? independent or with the parking lights? wiper and parking light relays are the most common.

i want to hook it up to turn on while the corner lights are on, or you can call them daytime lights.

*edit* the wire colors might be different. might wanna consult a fsm.

Someone try this out and let us know how it goes.

the relay for the fog will be labeled on the box cover. you can just ghetto jump the 12v off the relay tab instead of going to the wiring harness. basically wrap a wire around it and splice it with the fog 12v wire.

Its somewhat integrated with the headlight relay according to the FSM, but someone please prove me wrong. This is just what I cam across and gave up on the whole project.

not positive about this but i'm sure you could also rewire in the stalk on the steering column if the other way doesn't work.
