So my current car is going to be kind of undriveable soon, so I wanted to get something daily, and a bit nicer. A nice friend from another forum sent me here, as I asked about diffrent VIP styles. Im looking into eithor an older(91 or so) q45, or LS/GS, but am really interested in a SC300/400(cant pull that far out of the more sport like cars/2 door). Just wanted to say whats up, and hopefully Ill have a car worthy of joining up with you guys.
And in case your wondering on the current, here she is

Nice to have you hear. What wheels will be going on the Miata? As far as picking up an older VIPcar, I would suggest that you steer away from a SC and get the legit VIPcar (LS or Q). Plus wouldn't it be nice to have 4 doors at times!

I have a set of Work VS for it. 17x8.8 and 17x10. Very big, which is why it also has a turbo kit, which is also whats going to make it harder to drive daily.
Since its my first go at something thats not made to go fast, its still hard for me to break my roots. If I can find a goal with a LS or Q to build twards, I definatly will'. Time to go scour the magizines at Bookoff and Superautobacs ;D
Thanks for the warm welcome though!
What up and welcome to the spot.

Wow, thanks everyone! New motor should be in this week, then she gets painted. Hopefully Ill have car #2 by the end of the month. Im really starting to like the LS/celsor, but everyone I talk to off this board is saying soarer. I like them both! Its so hard! :'(

If you want a true VIP car platform, you have to go with the LS.

I say go with a 2nd Gen Mazda Protege!
hehe, just kidding, I think the LS/Celsior is a good decently priced project, and most are still in good condition for daily driving as well

Thats actually going to be(suposivly at least) dunlops new time attack car. Miatas new motor is in now(same as old, just a bit fresher). Fenders will be cut and then big wheels time(along with turbo). Also have a new project that when Im done Ill have the money for my vip attempt. ;)

I see Mike's been busy.
Welcome to the board and good luck with your VIP project.
IMO, a SC3/4 is not a good platform to start with.

Dont worry, Ive decided on eithor a UC10 or a g50 now. It just took time finding some examples I liked to give me the right push in that direction.
Should I be worried you know my name and I dont know yours? Mod status has something to do with it Im guessing.

You shouldn't be worried, I just recognize the cars in the picture. That's all ;)
