I am about to decide on a set of rims for my car (Euroline DH), the size/offset is perfect and they look nice (11cm of dish is pretty extreme for stock guards on a Cedric!)
but they are black faced, which i have never been a big fan of (hide the design too much, dont stand out like silver/chrome)...
But since the price/fitment is so good, i am seriously considering them... Has anyone got pics of VIP cars with blackfaced rims to help me decide?

i dont have any pics but if done right it looks gangsta... if you get em and dont like em you could always refinish them....

Thanks Pagong, that is the kind of thing i was looking for. Should be similar fitment on my car; i wanted to see if the dish was still visible, or if it was hidden too.
Hmmm, decisions, decisions... Any more pics?? :D

I think a black car with black wheels the polished lip stands out more.
Is your Cedric the one with the turbocharge V6 motor?

Nah, its the DE (non-turbo V6). I recently had to replace the engine and when faced with the choice of the turbo variant chickened out and went for the NA. I had the Cima which was turbo at that point, and didnt need 2 turbo cars!
Its charcoal grey right now, I think the black should look ok on it. I am gonna get the wheels, and just refinish them if the effect isn't right
