The Fabulous Various IS350 (that has pretty mild fitment) has these specs:

Front:
20inch x 9.0j +36 FACE-2

Rear:
20inch x 9.0j +24 FACE-3

And it looks like this:

most aggresive i have seen is 19x10.5 +43 offset. i think you can get away with a 19x10 +20 if you are willing to roll the fenders and strecth the tires a bit.

hell you could probably even go mroe aggresive... its not know because it hasnt been done yet.

Fitting wheels on the new IS is similar to fitting wheels on any generation GS, offset-wise.
I like the look of the silver one below, but I would still space them out a bit more. But this would require fender mods, of course.

On the 350, watch the front brake caliper clearance; this model has the same brake as the third-gen GS430. The rear brakes are not an issue.
The calipers have about 37mm overhang, requiring a decent backpad height.
Which wheels work with the front brakes and which ones won't...? That's a matter of the individual wheels' specific profile. Consult the wheel manufacturer.

If you notice on the pic, that other car right next to it has a better fitment.

I would love to see that wheel come out another 25mm or so ;)
