WTT/WTB: FGY33 Q45/Cima Zenki Tailights and Trunk

If you have a set of undamaged '97-'98 Q45 Tailights including complete trunk, I have a complete '99-'01 set up for trade (excluding "Q45" emblem). Here are some pics...

Yes make the conversion I never like the rear end of that style...it looks like its missing something...all you 99-01 owners dont take offense its just my opinion...their are things I like on the 97-98 and things I wish I had from the 99-01 models such as headlights, glass moon roof and center console with clock but I did do something about that....

Goodluck on your hunt car will look much better...if you could find a 97-98 Q45t trunk with spoiler would be tits:dance:

C4president and I like the 97-98 rears better as well and C4president has been comtemplating doing this conversionas well! As for me, I like being different!!! Everybody has that version of the Q and I wanted to be different and go w/ the Q that nobody really has! I wanted the stock HIDs (even though I'll be changing them), the black housing headlight. etc.
and as ugly as it may be I just like being different!

Na mang no offense...I like both styles just each has their own + and - about them....like I said I wish mine came with the glass top and the stock Xenon HIDs and lenses...the clock/ dash was not a big deal a simple upgrade but nonetheless Y33's Rule:biggthumpup:

For some reason I like the 99-01 trunk better minus the trunk reverse lights. I just wish they would of put the reverse lights in the tails instead of on the trunk like that. You will have a better chance doing this trade on clubnico then here. Good luck

I don't know much about the 99+ trunklid, but does the center garnish come off? If so, do you guys think the 97-98 center garnish work? If so, then you can just add the inner tails and replace the outer tails?

I was originally going to do that. You can just replace the center garnish. I was going to use this...=)

....but there are 2 main problems:
1. the holes left behind from the chrome infiniti trunk bar, they're on trunk not the garnish, 6 holes total.
2. the keyhole on the right inner tailight does not line up.

Man I really want an older trunk...

The holes shouldnt stop you because lets say you did get an older trunk from someone else. Theres a good chance that the color of the trunk wont match your paint so you would have to repaint it anyway. Those little holes wont cost much extra to fill in.

for the USDM models i prefer the 99+ over the 97-98...iono maybe because that trunk is only offered in North America. But the JDM kouki Y33 trunk piece that vegasy33 just takes the cake over all

I think 99+ was only offered in North America because they felt bad we didnt get the G50 Prez. Anyone notice the similarities in the two?

I'm gonna have to agree with PANCAKES! the LED taillights look so pimp, but big bucks. I can get them for you but i'll need one of your arms and one of your legs :smiley-rofl:

I've sourced some tails and lights for you....let me know if your still looking. they are off of a 97, and they are currently the whitel pearl color. trunk may have a little damage and little ding and accompanying scratch. but since you 'd be painting anyway may not matter. If you're still looking or if anyone is looking hollar back I'll put you in touch with the guy.

I agree with my lil bro. My dad was gonna trade me trunks because he has a 98 and I was tempted but I am gonna de-badge mine my way. (With my helpful tips from my lil bro)
