Pare ko I need a big favor.

Can anybody sa Pinas check the price on a foglight grille for the 2000 Honda CRV?

i'll c if i could get the info. today or by the end of the week, i was txting my mom n she can't get the picture of how it looks-she owns an auto acc. store both in greenhills n sta.lucia (the garage) she told me that there's a couple of diff. styles of this grille-i'll e mail her the pix tonight! she'll be here in (early) feb. if u want we can get this, but i don't know if she's willing to bring it here it's not that it's big but it's to fragile to carry it on the plane ;D my friend asked about the window visors for this (1st gen crv right?) it got here yeah but it had a lil' crack on the tip (even tho' the package sez "FRAGILE"!) ;D

they've been having some rainy days in Leyte...then it stopped, and people were having a gathering i believe at a local school...then a huge mudslide came out of nowhere from the mountain side, trapping the whole elementary school :( ...now rescue teams from Malaysia, U.S. and surrounding countries are going through the rubble...my prayers go out to those families...

i don't how else these people think, they're just driving away the investors and bussineses out of the country in which is the only people who helps the country succeed! i'm not a pro-GMA, thing is stabilize the status-quo! with her sitting as a president things are moving slowly but forward. before it was about those people from around the world who visits our finest resorts, they've been swept away because of these kidnappings, tortures, etc. etc. and now this! currency is doing at it's best-now it's starting to decline again... after a long struggle it came down to this! i don't care if GMA is freaking selfish, cheater, stealling 5hit loads of money, etc. etc. at least she's making some progress-and i can see that she's contributing some effort to move the country forward! let's face it before the country can stand to it's own feet it'll be a century at least! i'm a business minded person, we own bussineses in the phils, my aunt has her own travel agencies, my uncle has a import/export businesses in the country that supplies 90% of asia, another uncle who owns a handicraft business that supplies to the whole world... i could go on to this but my point is why can't the peolpe just do a little bit of sacrifice to make a better country even tho' if it's just little by little! they always want to get something the easy way!

The thing with any government is , nobody will be truly happy.

Even if they oust GMA, and put somebody else in her place..someone from the opposing party will not be happy and
have another "coup" plot to overthrow them. Then its full circle all over again.

What they need to do is put the US naval base back, that will bring in alot of trade export and import.

imho when it comes down to politics philippines is not for the better word "correctness" it seems that every politicians has its own agenda weather it be good or bad...which makes the common people loss fate on our government even if its trying its hard to fix the country...its a sad vicious circle no matter who sits in malacanang......and its sad that other countries looks at our government as a joke because of what they see...but besides of whats going on sa pinas.....relax na relax parin ang mga kababayan natin palagi pang pa good time afterwork hindi tulad dito pagkatapos ng trabaho uwi agad at matulog ;)

here's a thought - baket ang babait ng mga pinoy pag nasa ibang bansa sila :-\ bakit di nila magaya or magawa ung ugali nila pag nasa pinas sila???

things are just getting more worst and worst - ung mayayaman yumayaman, ung mahihirap lalong humihirap! IMO everybody's just saying those just for the heck of it-evryone has it's own ways to go thru life in the phils. would u believe that the magbabalot has his/her cellfone, the ratio of people having fones is 2 to 1 (because of that suncell company) u see people don't stop complaining because they never get satisfied with what they have right now! laging sumasabay sa uso kahit hirap nang kumain, i blame starbucks here also because a lot of our kababayans does'nt eat anymore because instead they buy coffee for no reason but just to be seen and get famous! i mean who wud pay 5hitload of pesosesoses just for a coffee, be satisfied with yoyoy's coffee (kapeng batangas!) one venti/tall could cost u ur family's lunch!!!

i'm bored it's raining all day - i'll just end up meesing my friday if umma keep thinking bout' this :tickedoff:

Thats one thing I like about Pinas.. pwedeng tambay after work, or do something else. Dito sa states work, home and sleep.

Funny thing is theres alot of actors/actresses over there that make tons of money and still dont offer any kind of help at all! :uglystupid2:Makes you wonder if they really care about the under priviledged, but they seem sincere when they are on TV talking all about it.

pre, diko pa alam... wala pa ung body kit!!! kaasar >:( 3 weeks ng delayed-kinukulit na'ko ng body shop-for how many times na nyan ni reserve ung mga tao nya, was planning to paint the whole car pero baka ung kit na lang muna, la na'kong time :tickedoff: we've just finished my bro's mr2t n my cuzin's 82 starlet-auto ko na lang ang hinhintay matapos!!!

anyways i'll see u then sa TORC, sure i won't miss it (even if it means w/out my car :() ...can't wait to see the magz!

mga pinoy dyan hopefully magkita-kita tayo sa TORC-ready na mga auto nyo for this event, it'll be a great turnout for both toyota owners as well as VIP toyota owners that is!!! hope to c yah all there ::)

...how much is ur budget, might be able to help u with it-i sold mine 1.5 years ago (73mango)-i think my friend does'nt want it anymore because he can't drive it anywhere he wants to-too loud. i also have a 2tg engine sitting in my garage it's for sale since i don't have any old skul cars anymore, was planning on putting that on my prev. 82liftback (comb. 2tg top/3t bottom) but the car is just too heavy for it! anyways my cousin is thinking of selling his 81starlet after this event-he's trying to get a FIT!

Poyet good news man!!! Derrick from D2 Autosport helped me with the trouble that carson had cost me!!! Luis (Carson Toyota) told me that the kit was actually at the piers and they're just waiting for it to pull it out UNFORTUNATLEY that's not the case-what happened is this lady from Japan didn't actully shipped it!!! Anywhow, Derrick emailed me immediately (CL) and man i was so lucky that they have it in stock-today i got them items and i'm off to the body shop today! it's just too bad that i won't have enough time to paint the whole car >:( okay see u guys soon-will post some pix after it is done meanwhile here's what i got from today!!!

Yeah, ok lang yung auto ko. Buti nalang mabagal lang ako nung natanggal yung ball joint, di ko nasira yung ABS/speed sensor. Magaling pa yung nakuha kong tow truck driver, nailagay nya sa loob ng garage ko. :)

5Zigen is actually going to come out with a single pc. cast wheel with a dish design. From what I heard, offsets will be "semi agressive" like their FN01 series.

mga pare... you should check out "concept one wheels" sa atin magagada ang mga rims nila muntik na akong nakabili noong umuwi ako sa pinas kaso my heart was on the volks rims kasi ang mura sa atin at bonus nagkasya sa balikbayan box at hindi nag over ng 70lbs ;)

Tight, I didn't know there was a PI thread in this forum! But yeah like V8_Aristo said, Banawe St. is packed with automotive stores. The wheel shops are literally stacked 10 rows high :o But if you're a little cheapskate like I am, hit up Evangelista St. for second hand car parts, my bro brought back a set of 16" wheels for $100 USD. Just put one wheel in each balikbayan box and you're straight!
