View Full Version : Curtain Tracks for less than $10
Hey Everyone, I'm new around here so I don't know if this is old news but I found these curtain rails and ordered a set. In case anyone else is interested heres the details:
Each set comes with extra end caps and pieces.
It is possible to cut the rails to fit, or depending on length cut a longer set in half to cover all four windows.
the only thing you'll need to fabricate are the curtains, and the hook that will hold them to the b-pillar.

Right now it isn't a major priority of mine to finish design on the curtains for my car, but as soon as I begin I will post up pics (most likely a couple weeks from now).

I think he means if they will work as replacement tracks for t he Garson curtains since they already come with the sewn in "hooks" or holders.... which was my question when i saw this thread!

nope....they aren't compatible, but they do have some parts available that allow you to snap the curtains on and off but they aren't compatible with the garson hooks. I've had some for a while now I've been wanting to do rear window curtains using these rails and snaps but been to busy and not motivated enough to sew up the rears yet.

So what Fabric is everyone using?? 1) for ideas and 2) so we aren't all doing the same style....
I'm actually looking into subtle patterned fabric??
I have patterned suede in my trunk.
i think i might go "british racing" green for my curtains maybe a velour fabric.
or i will go dark grey suede to match the inserts on my seats.

Wow!!! Awesome find! +1 for you!!!!
now... if only there was a way to mount them on frameless doors....
im actually considering mounting mine onto the roof, and not having a bottom track. they'll connect to the b-pillar when theyre open, and when they're closed i'll have them attach to a point on the door or c-pillar by velicro or magnet so they dont swing around or get in the way.
(my doors have frames tho)

im a bit wary about drilling holes into my car. and from the rail pics it looks like screws are included. is this the same deal for the garsons and JP ones? drill into the car or how does it work? i've been lookin into this but it makes me a little nervous.
3M double sided tape? :D
