I recently read an article on Fisker in Car & Driver Magazine. Fisker is a coachbuilder who is producing a limited amount of units available in hardtop or convertible form. One is being built around the BMW 6 series powertrain/interior and the other is based on the Merc CL 65 AMG. Both are highly expensive and very limited.

funny you say that jdm pimp because i also did read that article too man...
lol the fisker upgrade its actually quite pricey as you may or not know
the whole package in the end is alot i dont know the exact number but its
double digits and thats not even encluded in the cost of the car so
add that up its probably more then a bently jeez i rather hook up a regular
cl or beemer then get this package thats just my opinion though..

Wow I just found the specs on the other Fisker (the Tramanto) which is built around the Merc. It's powered by a Fisker/Kleeman enhanced AMG built 90 deg. supercharged V-8 w/ 610 bhp and 650 lb-ft torque, 0-60 in 3.6 and a top speed of 202 mph. Hahaha they don't even bother to list the price.

Here's the link: www.fiskercb.com

I may be talking out of my ass here (i'm by no means a designer), but i'm not sure i like the hard angular lines of the front, and how they are completely different to the rounded sides/rear. Its like they couldnt decide what they wanted...

the deal is that you purchase the bmw 6 series, or the mercedes benz sl (not cl (http://www.fiskercb.com/pr/TRAMONTO_SPECS.pdf)), "drop it off" to fisker, wait a few months, and come back to find your creation. my understanding is that it is an additional 60-100k+ on top of the price of the base vehicle- price varies because the owner may or may not want particular engine upgrades or other variables.

fisker is located in so cal if memory serves me correctly.

I persoanlly wouldn't waste my time and money on it, except if they just offered the performance package only,
then thats a different story.

it's a bmw 6 series... so it should remind you of a bmw, because it is a bmw...
