View Full Version : Not exactly VIP, but not bad for a Euro.

I'd say my car is more or less an amalgamation of the Euro, VIP and Minitruck styling trends, so I wouldn't exactly pigeonhole it as anything specific. I just do what I think looks good and I think I'm doing alright so far. =)
The air suspension was fabricated and installed by me about three months ago. I've got a Viair 480 compressor, 5-gallon tank, AFC valve blocks (yes, the ones you can get from ChassisTech... :ughrun: They're great valves for the money for anyone who's wondering about them, BTW), 3/8" lines controlled by a chrome 7-switch box and ride height control is compliments of a Fab-Lab Pressuryte.
The wheels are three-piece 19x9 et37 Lorinser RSK-2's with 225/35 Falken FK452's.

Hmmm, looks like you're limited to 10 pics per post, not a bad idea. Some of the other forums I post on could use that rule...
My friend Dave made this .gif :smiley-rofl:

Future plans include some more bodywork (shaved rub strips on the doors, new sideskirts and front bumper), chrome mirrors, custom exhaust and some other little things.
I also want to get the front lower. As it sits right now, my upper control arms almost rest on the top of the fender wells, so I can only get about a quarter inch lower unless I get the plasma cutter out and start cutting into the firewall and fender wells.

nice classic wheels.. but wheres the center caps?
Capt. Obvious
01-25-2008, 10:01 AM
Center caps weren't with the wheels when I got them and are stupid expensive. I've gotta do about $2k worth of maintenance in the coming months, so they'll have to wait for the time being.
As for spacers, no can do. Because of the way the suspension articulates, I can barely get a credit card between the fenders and the wheels in a few spots. And Audi suspensions don't allow for crazy camber like on the Japanese cars.

I'm loving the audi, wish I would picked one up when I bought my car. I'm def. loving the burberry shift bood, you usually only see people use Louis Vuitton for things like that. I personally plan on using some D&G stuff in my car. Keep doing your thing.
