2002 Infiniti Q45 DVD navigation system

Has anyone altered the Navigation screen to play other video other then the factory stuff? Saw on ebay some guy selling one for $200.

Also, I want to upgrade my DVD nav disc to a newer version since 2002 was pretty long ago now. I'm looking for the dvd nav ver 6.6 or 6.5

i tried. but personally i think the resolution on the stock screen is pretty bad. id recommend either a new dvd player or custom doing a touchscreen where the stock screen is.

try searching nico i think i saw some dvd update info there
