Hey guys, its time for me to throw on some shoes. Im currently looking at memoryfab and takumiproject for wheels and maybe if Robert (face) can get me some 19x9 and 19x10.5 in 3X offsets. I drive a 96' UCF20 with a new paintjob. Friend of mine locally knows the owner of DazzMotorsports and can get me a good deal for Maya's, Lowenharts etc. Some of them look like generic VIP wheels like Wald or Work Euros, but they arent cheap. They go for more than 1,000 per wheel for retail. Some feedback and input would be great. :)

Its not always about the brand. As long as it is a quality wheel that fits right, and gives off a bold and classy presence then your on the right path. Many Maya's are just rebadged Trafficstar or Work wheels, so yeah. There are some really nice Lowenharts too... I may just have to recomend the LSR's if you have the car to pull them off. There is a widebody crown rocking them in japan right now and it looks nuts!

I also then the Lowenhart LC1 is a nice wheel.

Maya aka Riverside is some good quality afaik and they have some nice deep wheels. I'm sure they would look great on the right car. In fact, if I'm not mistaken (though I probably am) this Blow Design F50 Cima is on Trafficstar DTX wheels. If not, it's something very similar.

thanks for the great input. what do you guys think about the maya DTR in 19x9 F +30 19x10.5 R +30 for my 96 celsior. its lowered on wald coilovers currently. the color of car is midnight blue, i will try to get some pictures updated here. What would be a typical price for these wheels in those specs. :)

No, those wheels have more curve to the face then you think. I recomend the Maya DX2's. This wheel is getting alot of attention on VIPcars in Japan currently, has a classy look, and will look great on a LS400.

Maya DX2 = Riverside Trafficstar DTX btw.
I think it looks best in polished, maybe with the lines in gunmetal

damn they look great, so the current offsets im looking at will look flush? also i still dont understand what low disk and special low disk stand for. can you gurus point the 411 out? also, ill try to upload some pictures of my car and see if any of you photoshop masters can chop me a photo render. :)

The disk has to do with the thickness of the pad. As the pad gets thinner, the chance for the wheel to interfere with brake components increases. Some cars have to run a mid disk up front and a super low disk out back. Perhaps some of the UCF masters can chime in and let you know what the LS's require for pad spacing. Im still pushing for the DX2's btw. They look HOT on the Mode Parfume cars!

Actually im loving the DX2's already in diamond black. I noticed they only come in 20's. Should that be a problem as I am indefinite if it will fit in 20x9 F 20x10.5 R on my 96' celsior. Any input on that as well? What rubber do you guys recommend as well, I am located in socal, so gripping would be my preference.
