HELP! Need to clean my headliner!

My headliner is quite dirty from the previous owner.
I tried taking it to a car wash/detailing place, but they said they couldn't do it.
I need to figure out a way to clean it without ruin it.

Any idea guys?

I used 20/80 grease cutting dishwashing liquid and hot water solution when I cleaned the headliner of an old Corolla. I dumped the solution in a spray bottle and spot spray every nasty part or the whole head liner and use microfiber towels soaked in hot water to scrub it, after that I took a clean vacuum cleaner and sucked the moisture out and let dry indoors. (you could use a blow dyer if desired...)

I dropped the headliner and placed it on the clean living room carpet to clean it thoroughly and to clean every hidden dirt/grease. (WORKS GREAT!)
