Its a bit rough round the edges, but it is what it is.

A Junction Produce Toyota Celsior

I edited the other car out, seeing as this forum is rediculously die hard on a few select models.

You'll be happy to know, we are getting rid of the Celsior. It would be lovely to keep. But it this world, everything is for sale for the right price.

Thanks. :)

And thanks. :) It can go a touch lower, but stock bags and a FIELDS height controller can only go so low. Oh well.

The Celsior needs a bigger drop, coils or bags maybe. Anyway, nice cars!

Why not swap a 6spd trans and a built 2JZ-GTE and tighten up the suspension on the Soarer to make it the drifter with some VIP attitude?

Celsiors on bags just lifted for the winter. And the soarer already has the 1JZ, which is in my opinion (and owner of a 2JZ-GTE Aristo) just as, if not cooler than the 2j lol.

I'd like to get some new bags for the Celsior, but body work needs to be finished first. That and the Soarer is eating all my spare income.

The Soarer has a 1J and a 5 speed. It has JIC coilovers with 16 and 12 kilogram springs, which suck at life. I need a twin plate clutch, more wheels, new coilovers (with 18 and 14 kilo springs), and other bits and pieces. But its well on its way.

If a 6 speed trans didnt cost as much as the damn car, I'd be all over it. As for the 2J... the 1J weighs 60 lbs less, responds much better, and sounds and infinite amount better.. it sounds like... the universe is about to implode, I think is a good way to put it. Ask sui:vax :)

That car doesnt move in winter brother. Neither of them do LOL. Thats what the winsauce Civic is for yes? The 2J in your car does the trick. With that nice Holset turbine you'll be stuffing in there along with the open dump wastegate... well.. epic I think is a good word.

PANCAKES!

Not really.. Its all dependant on the person. I caught on in an hour, I know some people who are still hopeless.

How hard is it to pass on a two lane highway? (one lane each direction.)

My dad was going to buy an R33 Skyline in Cali but, he had a problem with the driving position when he test drove it and had to let it go.

Its not overly difficult in my opinion. But a lot of people disagree with me.

It is more involved, you have to look around the right side of the vehicle your trying to pass, or hang far back. If you have a powerful car, good judgement of speed and a touch of confidence, its much easier to hang back a ways and just look around the left.

The first right side drive car I had was an r32 4 door Skyline. Fucker was a rocket ship, and small so visability wasnt much of an issue. The Soarer though fast, is a bit bigger and as a result visibility is relatively limited when following someone (unless far back) so its a bit more tricky.

I dont even bother passing anyone in the Celsior. People either wonder wtf is following them and pull off, or speed up because they are afraid.

Lol no worries man. Thanks for the welcome.

Hell to the no.

It has crossed my mind a LOT. I took it out in the rain in a parking lot when I first got it. But thats all.

Twenty thousand dollar bodykit + accident = fail. Its a garage queen.

I currently have two people arguing over it, offering rediculous amounts of money, which means I have the opportunity to get out of debt, which is slightly appealing. If that car goes, so does the Soarer, and I get to start from scratch. Woot.

Thank you.

And yes, the 1.5j is a fairly common frank. The 1j head supposedly flows better, whereas the 2j bottom end is bullet-proof.

I dont really think that is a necessary evil for me personally. The 1j does just fine with stock twins, y-pipes and full exhaust. All I need is a good clutch to use what power I have properly.

I was thinking about a Crown. But its not something I'd really want to drive every day. If I choose to wait 5 months for a car to get here, I'll be buying a jzx81 or a jzx90.

You'll be getting a Chaser? That'd be a decent drift car...it's not technically 'vip' but hey.

No Cima's? We could use more of those on this forum haha

I would ideally like one beater (99 Civic which I already have) and one nice baller street drifting car.

Im not totally hardcord VIP ish whatever. I hate automatic transmissions. I hate driving slow. And I hate smashing a nice car to bits and crying over it. I like driving the balls off my cars.

So I want a nice car that isnt worth a fortune that I can slide into the odd something or other and I wont care too much about.

To be completely honest, my ideal car would be a JZS161, stripped down to nothing, with a roll cage, a 5 speed, a 1J, slammed to the ground with big fat wheels and a body kit, and stuff. Its your guys' VIP car with my own lovely twist. But it would be wayy too expencive so I'm most likely going to buy a lighter car with a 1J already in it and 4 doors. If my Soarer doesnt get bought up in a hurry I'll be keeping that... Thats all I got.

I assume you've seen the WELD cars correct? The verrossa and Chasers? Beautiful machines....not really 'vip' but VERY nice nonetheless.

Yes of course! As ugly as it may be, I am in love with the Verossa. WELD is a great company, they make great cars, mostly because they focus on the JZX chassis haha.
