Hey everyone im a noob :'( here and was looking into VIP. Everyone in my city has the usual Civic, Prelude FC3S RX7 and I was looking to break that trend and start something new. I am a bit short on cash and was looking to import an already used and modified Nissan President/Infiniti Q45. I was wondering if this was a benefit as to building up my own. I know that building up your own gives you better satisfaction but, as i said before, i am strapped for cash.

Lucky bastard! Australia changed the rules before presidents were allowed to be imported.
I dont know the registration rules in Canada, but consider this; a wild VIP car will NOT be cheap to get registered. I went through the process of buying a crazy car for a good price, then spent nearly 2 times the expected costs of importing because of shipping issues, compliance issues, then bodywork issues (wild VIP cars tend to have a few cracks etc when you look at the cheaper end of the market).
IF you are just looking at a President with a simple bodykit, rims and coilovers then I dont see why not. You can always change the rims etc later when you have more money

those don't look like two phrases that belong together :-\ but welcome anyway.

If your in Canada registering it is cake.
The process depends on the province your in.
Here in BC,* take delivery, get out of province inspection, get new VIN issued from ICBC and installed by certified mechanic.* Go buy insurance from any insurance broker.* Enjoy car.
