Finally got my wheels on my IS and went to take some pictures. My friend tagged along, so we decided to take pictures of both cars. The cars have some problems at the moment. My wheels still need to be refinished, my car is begging for aero, and my friend's s4 was missing the back spacers and headlight washer caps, so try not to worry about that stuff.

They are 18x9 +42 with a 7mm spacer and 225/40 in front, and 18x10 +41 with 235/40 in back... They do seem meater than I would've anticipated, but whatever.

Shouldn't a 225 on a 9J looks more stretch that urs?
235 on a 10J shud even have more stretch!

Yeah, I suppose they aren't too slammed compared to a bagged car or anything, but they're as low as they can go in front while still being able to drive them hard (without serious pulling). The rears could go lower on both cars, but uneven fendergap wouldn't look good.

youd have to be blind to miss that intercooler... :eek4wtf:

The size of that intercooler is way too big and unnecessary, I am sure you could achieve the same horse power with a smaller one.

The s4 is stage 3... I don't know what that means, but its got k04 turbos and a bunch of other crap.

I'm sure you could drive a car without slamming it, but there's nothing wrong with doing what you like.

Next up I've decided that I'm gonna have the front fenders pulled and repainted since my tires ate up the paint, and then I'm gonna lower it more. After that, aero is coming soon, as well as little bit of gt car and vw flavor, and I'll be doing some drivetrain mods to help me out at DDays.
What's up with your exhaust?
It's got some piping an a muffler, exhaust gas flows through it.

Depends on what tires you are running. Sidewall design determines the "streched look".

Yeah, these tires have the tallest sidewalls of any 40 series 18's I've ever seen. Oh well, they fit.

Pretty damn nice cars if you ask me. But what the hell, I never even thought FMIC's came that damn big! He like had to cut the bumper up allot it looks like to make it fit and stand out. The wheels on it are sweet!

On the Audi are those BBS Reps? if so what offsetts is he running and what width. Thanks
ill roller
05-26-2008, 09:35 AM
The s4 is running BBS LM replicas, and I believe they are 18x8.5 +25 or +30. He didn't cut the bumper at all, he just removed the side grills and the center trim piece.
And in case anyone is interested, I lowered my car a little more since the first pictures.
