I just picked up a black on black 99 Q45. So far all I've done is tint the windows, put on the Cima grille, and threw on some S14 Rear Upper Arms. I've got some JIC coilovers in the basement, but have them up for sale and decided to just do springs for now due to money (in the process of moving and selling my house).

It fits in the S13/S14 better than any of those in my opinion.

Damn if I still had my S14 I probably would have ended up swapping in an LS1 too. I still cant believe they actually weigh almost the same, if not less than the stock KA24DE's... Aluminum V8's FTMFW!!!

I cant imagine how many "240/nissan purists" cry about you swapping in an LS1. I remember back then on the forums, everyone would be like "blah blah blah Its a disgrace dropping an american v8 motor into your japanese car, the only engine that belongs in there is a KA or an SR blah blah yadda yadda" The LS1-RX7 guys hear the same shit too lol.
Hmm, street legal, stock and reliable as hell, 300+rwhp, decent gas mileage, infinite potential, the ability to beat the snot out of almost any car you run into on the street/track, great handling chassis. Sounds good to me And the swap insn't even really that hard to do. Shit, people make motor mounts out of freakin hockey pucks for this thing.

I'll try to clean up the Y33 and take some pics this weekend. Going to install a diff from a G50 if that's possible for a bit better gas mileage and while I'm in there, check on my S14 RUCAs and install some S14 toe arms as well.

Off the hook. Looks like a pretty strict straight line car from the tires your running. Could use some body mods of course, but if that aint what your going for no big deal. Having a big can sticking out the back is the icing on the LSx cake, I never really associated v8 with fart can, sweet car

Yeah, it started out with the intention of being a drift car, but it turned out so clean, I couldn't risk putting it in a wall. So, now it's just a driver/street car. Every now and then I like to have a contest of speed with it, so the tires were a necessity. I have considered some of the stock Aero stuff, but I just always find something more important to spend it on. Once I move out of my current house and the shitty St. Louis roads, it's going lower. I think I'll just leave it alone since it is somewhat of a sleeper as is with the import exhaust, SSRs, and JDM front. I also have the 2 LITER license plate that I throw on sometimes if I'm going racing.

The LS series is my favorite engine. Im going to put one in the back of a Pontiac Fiero one of these days LOL.

The first plate is pretty funny. 1.5 gallons is more like it ;)
