Default hids on my o5 scion question.

i was wondering if anybody has this problem on their 05 xb. i tried to put my friends hids that used to be on his car. but one of the wire got chewed up by one of his belts on his car. so he gives them to me,so i fix and splice another h4 connector to it and hook them up to my car. ok the one that didnt have any damage to it was just flickering but never turned on. the other i put on the passanger side never turned on,and not to mention blew a fuse. i dont get it, they worked just fine on my friends car before his engine murdered it :buck2:.does anybody know what i can do?

well, they migh be damaged more than what he told you !! Why did he take them of if he could just replace the connector himself ??
Other wise, installing HID is just like replacing bulb and doesn't matter what car it is on !!

just hope that my posts can help..
i know for a fact that straight plugging and
playing some of the hid kits would cause reverse polarity
or whatever. because they would change it.

    i would just be careful...

these relays you speak of? do they look like the turn signal relays? the reason i ask is because my friend had some hids and on his he had the power wire with a fuse.
