so when I catch a curb a 3am I can just throw on a spare without caring and they have a pretty decent specs too

thanks Joe! it'll be out at the next even but realistically it'll probably still be auto and going home on a flat bed with a blown tranny and then back for April with clutch kicks LOL

G/l on your build...the wheels, I dont get it. Cuz the tires you put on will prob be worth more then your wheels and so imo should have gone into something nicer (used even), and kept the stocks to floss around in..but it is your build and i hope you can pull it off.

The wheels serve a purpose....but that purpose isn't VIP! Those are late night curb humpers.... This should be sweet drift car when done.

they have drift events at desoto speedway? are we referring to the same place? the 1/4 mile strip? i havent been there in ages (around 8 years) since i used to go there to race. id make the trip out there to see a drift event, hell id probably take the corolla out there and break her in!

If you stay on the entrance road and go down almost the full length of the drag strip there is a banked oval with secondary oval and x inside. There has been events every month for the past year or so, $20 per car and $10 per driver/spectator but usually no concessions or tire changer. Its always a good time

Yup, usually just stop at the grocery store a block or two off the highway and pick up food and drinks. Also bring a couple of sets of rims and tires and your set for a days worth of fun....
