ive never been the biggest fan of RWB, thought it was played out..but seeing these in person, especially that grey one, oh man im a believer. I didnt like the white one tho, and thats why i didnt take any pics of it.
I'm not saying Rotiforms are less original. I just think its an ugly wheel.

    Edumication time with Kouki Monster

I think what ever is on that green car is tight. keeps kinda true to era specific. just the dog cone needs to be on the out side of the spokes rather than the back side. But, still all good.

When it comes to Porsche, its one of my faves, and my loves. So seeing RWB does mean a lot to me. I just hate the commercialization of it. Or rather soon to be. But to be honest.. How original is RWB? If you know the history of Porsche, then you are very familiar with the racing heritiage of it all. RWB is merely emulating the GT Cup cars of yesteryear.

You say its original, i say its originality. If I came out with a company and made a few 911s 930s 993s etc with the GT cup gt3 and gt2 kits and drove them on the street. You would have what you see here. Just a more toned up version. Everyone likes the idea of a race car on the street, and this is exactly what it is. A tuner version of a race car.

I have had this talk what is almost couple years ago about this. Before RWB is known like it is. All the kits they call their own, is nothing more than finely variations of what I have in my distributor catalogs. Now, If i was to do what I plan on, and make a gt3 cup car for the street. I would have to defend that it is emulating RWB style, for the uneducated dont realize, it started in germany, and like most japanese things take someone elses idea and make their own version.

And the parts I get. Are complete dry carbon, kevlar, and frp options. That is including the whole quarter panel replacement, roof, the add on wide arch, door, front fender hood, and front and rear bumpers splitters, and banana wing and whale tale. If you were to purchase all of this, you would come up with the same price as what they are selling the kit for. which is not carbon or as extensive. When I dug into who rwb is ( while I still believe it is an awesome thing to see), the magic was pretty much gone for me when i learned more.. As it was just a replica of something that is already out, and the fan boys and enthusiasts to this new movement have no idea where it came from.

    end rant, on with pics:

lookin pretty RWB.. I mean.. other way around.

With out the "stance" and the lower intake vents on front bumper shortend it is what is the green car.

found of the same kit the only thing different is bumper mod and side skirt

So, if you all wanna build a SCB Soft Country Burgercliffnotes car. Hit me up! hahahaha

i think this is evolution. the stance game is suspension and suspension is (should be) about performance. once cats go beyond the "slam it at any cost and throw some wheels on" mindset the game will change for the better. i expect it will also bleed into other areas of the car. form + function = win.

i give rotiform their props. the designs aren't really geared towards my preferance (although i don't dislike them either) but they actually do some engineering to produce wheels with inreased functionality (lightening, cooling, etc.).

this is all good stuff in my eyes.
