Nice to see something so not typical of the VIP scene
So I was having a problem with my car the past couple of weeks which was causing the rear of the Sentia to slide out (not in a good way) when going over bumps at any speed in excess of 40kmph.
I finally managed to get my car taken in for a wheel alignment to hopefully fix this problem. Get the car back with wheels now at zero camber... The tie rod needed adjusting and this fixed my problem.
Now with zero camber the first time since putting the wheels on and lowering my car I now have the problem of hitting the guards. Fronts always kinda rubbed on bad angles but now the rear was scraping due to body roll at nearly any speed. :S
Booked in with Precision Wheels on North Shore and got it sorted out.
It cost $35 per guard and I needed it done quick to save me ripping my tyres apart.
Heres a pic.
I will buy my own guard roller in the future but needed it done quick. These guys managed to book me in for a Saturday.

My rear shocks are on their way out, I got told by one place that they would be like $300 a corner to rebuild. Then I would still have standard shocks :(
So If I have to spend money. I am going to upgrade.
Found these JIC adjustable shocks on Japan Yahoo auctions
I now just need someone who can bid on them for me and ship them to me in New Zealand.
Any recommendations welcome.
Oh and I am really missing driving a manual. So if anyone wants to donate an engine and manual gearbox let me know. haha Then I can make this build something more exciting!

Yea I did (emailed ewan@hayatonka.com) and only got an automated reply with a promise of a follow up. But got nothing. Will try someone else.

I went for my WOF the other day and everything passed fine except my left rear shock. Which was leaking pretty bad.
With Sentia's being pretty uncommon I needed something fast.
I managed to borrow a shock from my friend and fellow Sentia owner Alpha. Who also has a build thread on here. http://www.vipstylecars.com/forums/s...t=13364&page=9
I have a couple of options on what to do now.
*Get a new shock made up to replace the one that is leaking.
*Upgrade the lot to adjustable suspension. (upgrading the handling and more low :) Also peace of mind knowing the other shocks aren't going to give up on me at any moment. )
Ok so I'm looking for adjustable suspension for my car. Have a guy in Japan looking out for stuff for me, and I am constantly checking yahoo auctions. I also have MTS on North shore, looking into what they can make up for me.
So I'll save up and when I finally get the suspension I will have another problem.
THE DRIVE WAY
Here's my predicament.
Its a pretty crazy angle and its to stay that way. It's like that to prevent storm water running down into our house and flooding the place.
Heres my current low.
So I guess it will all have to wait till I get the adjustables. But maybe I will make up a ramp of some sort so I can drop further :)

ummm there is a few other ways buddy:) what i normally do is go through other peoples driveways to get extra angle etc.:) i can see that youre in a couldesac so you can possibly come from the left side on that grass verge:)
whats the bet i will get my car in your driveway as it is right now lol:)))
there is always a way out of this:)
oh get some 4x2's and keep em in the trunk in case you ever need them
