VSC Reboot on our 10 year anniversary
I can’t believe that it has already been 10 years since we turned on the switch to VSC. It has been such a love / hate relationship. More love than hate of course. We were told it was just a fad, a trend that would never catch on. 10 years later, we may have been moving slow but hey, we are still here. VIP Cars have always been a passion. I may not build the car that pushes the VIP Car boundaries but I am ok with that. I am not here for that. I just wanted a home for those of us who enjoyed these types of builds to have a place to go.
It’s been a long time since I have written anything on here. Started to feel as if I was pushing myself in the wrong direction and no longer working on my passion which is VSC. We have a great support staff here at VSC and I am thankful for everyone who contributes to keeping our community online and thriving. For our 10 year anniversary, I promised those closest to me that we would set a new mark for VSC. We would come back to feature some of the fantastic builds we see on our forums. We will release our monthly magazine as well. I am planning on attending events outside of California starting with Hot Import Nights in Houston in March. Obviously we will reach out with some of our photographers to bring you these features. I’m not here to compete with other sites on content. You can have the first “dibs” on it. I’ll happily feature the car after someone else featured it. It’s not about being first here at VSC, its about doing it right. I just need to get it done right for our VSC members and core fans.
If you want to get your car featured, email us at [email protected]! We want all types of builds out there. Starting out? Sure! Lets do a build thread. Finished? Of course we want to feature it. You were featured in a magazine or another site before? Congrats, and I still want to feature your car here. It’s about showcasing our community, not lining up our pockets so we just get more viewers than everyone else. Besides, we should be supporting print anyways. Printed magazines is something that is slowly dying and is a big part of our automotive community. I have a line up of features that I am finishing up to post starting later today.
With that said, we will see you all soon. Hopefully we can get our GS400 back out there with you guys / gals so that it can be fun for us again. Here’s to another 10 years!
